ESPN question

We will be at WDW on New Year's Day. My team Michigan is going to be playing my daughter's team Texas in the Rose Bowl that afternoon. We would love to watch the game at ESPN. Any words of wisdom to make sure we can get in to watch the game?

I would be standing in line long before the door opens and hang out until the game. good luck. the hawkeyes will be in Orlando NYD, we cannot wait to go see them in person.

You may want to look into the Official All Star Cafe at Disney's Wide World of Sports. They advertise 20 big screen tvs, and may very well be less crowded than ESPN.

Has anyone ever gone to the All Star Cafe to watch a sporting event? Do you know if you have to pay the admission fee for All Star SPorts to go to the Cafe?

Checked my CM website, and it says that admission to WWS is not required to eat at All Star Cafe.

(All Star Sports is a hotel, Wide World of Sports is a sports complex, featuring the restaurant All Star Cafe ... yes, the names can get confusing, I was a bit confused the first time I heard someone talking abut All Star Cafe)

I wanted to watch sunday football one time in Nov. a few years back. They were backed out to the water waiting to get in. I said heck with that and did the parks instead. I say check into the all star cafe thing. ESPN club is the obvious onsite sports/meal option. We just did the monday night game GB/St louis. We got there right after RoE and missed the 1st qtr. It took about another 10 minutes to get a table. It was worth it then, but it was also slow at the resorts after thanksgiving weekend. New Years and football go hand and hand, I can only imagine how busy they will be. Have fun whatever you do.

We were there last sunday to watch the STEELERS.......got there at 1130 only a few ahead of us...got crowded later though
