Anyone eaten at the ESPC Cafe on the Boardwalk recently, was it any good. Was going to come out of Epcot for a few hours in the afternoon and thought we would go here
Thanks

The food is just OK, in my opinion; typical American bar food. They changed their menu a few years back and got rid of some items that the hubby and I thought were really tasty (rest in peace, tuna pita) and replaced them with a lot of heavier, greasy foods. Having said that, there is no better place in WDW to catch a sporting event, especially if your team is playing. We had a blast in 2004 and 2006 watching the baseball playoffs and World Series at ESPN club because our home team was playing.

I agree with oybolshoi. You go to the ESPN Zone for the atmosphere, not necessarily for the food. Not that's it's bad - just typical sandwich and bar stuff, which is fine for what it is. But it's a neat place to eat for the entertainment, if nothing else - more TV screens than I could count, tuned into more different sporting events than I even knew existed. There are even TVs in the hallway on the way to bathrooms and in the bathrooms over the stalls, so you don't miss a thing. Occasionally there are ESPN radio shows going on live there, and the hosts often involve the patrons. It's a lot of fun, at least if you're a sports fan.

Good, solid Pub-Grub, probably the best nacho platter in WDW, the hot wings are a meal in themselves but not hot enough for my taste. Afternoons are good except Sat during college football and Sun for the pros. We like to sit at the bar and that can be iffy from late afternoon on.

We had a nice lunch there this June...great wings and a very good reuben...nice and quiet in there at lunchtime

Its not the most creative food, not the most healthy stuff you can eat but ohh it taste so good:rotfl2:,for me I am at Disney bring on the food:cool1:.

Where going here next Friday, the nachos,Hot wings and chicken strips(of course hot) would suit me with out ordering a actual meal.Would I be missing anything? If we ordered just the apptizer?.

This is a must do for every trip for us. Ate there in June and again in July. The food is good and it isn't all greasy. I always get the turkey and brie sandwich. it is delicious. Both of my boys are big fans of the Home Run Hot Dog. The service can be somewhat sloooooow. We tend to linger here once we get a table, but we are commando park people.

We eat there at least one time for lunch during our visits. It is usually our burger of choice when at WDW.Chicken sandwich is good too.
DH and I also have had lunch at their locations in DL in CA., Baltimore Washington D.C. and Vegas. The prices at the WDW location are inline with their other properties.

Forgot to add if you are in ESPN during the afternoon on a weekday they may have EPL or Scottish league matches on the TV.Due to U.S. College and NFL football no chance they would be on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

I was there when they had this going on!! Its definitely awesome!! Its also DEFINITELY a atmosphere place, but the food isn't terrible. :thumbsup2

Horrible, horrible food. Tried it several times over the years, with each experience being worse than the one before. It's the one place at WDW I vowed to never go to again!

It's okay. We were there last month and we did not enjoy it as much as we have previously, although we love the nachos and they were still pretty awesome. The atmosphere is the main deal there.

Barbeque wings are great, place is really loud, beer selection is absolutely miserabe.
