Escape Wedding

I want to have an escape wedding, but on the website, it says the package starts at $2950, but then I read that there is a $10000 minimum to have your wedding there. Am i reading the correctly? If so is there a cheaper way of doing this? We would be having a reception when we get home with everyone in our families and spending $10,000 alone on the ceremony is just too much for our budget.

The $10,000 minimum is for the Wishes wedding, not the Escape/Intimate.

Actually Escape weddings now start at $4,000, for 2008 the price has increased, but if you are doing a 2007 wedding, the $2950 base price applies. The 10K minimum only applies to Custom/Wishes weddings.

Be forewarned though, as I'm doing an Escape wedding, there are quite a few additional expenses other than the base $4,000 (and those who want the Wedding Pavillion pay $5K minimum)

Look at what the Escape package includes on the website. And, remember that your 4 night minimum stay at a Disney resort (can be a value resort) is NOT included.

It can really add up!

Yeah it can....we are spending over 15k for our wedding/honeymoon...and the cost goes up everyday!
