Escape Wedding Timeline

Hey!

So I am starting to get a little worried that we will not have a rehearsal before my escape wedding. After the way my BM's and guests have handled their travel plans (or not handled, as the case may be), I am a little worried that they can't follow the simplest of instructions! So, for all the former Escape brides out there, can you give me a little run through of how everything happens? I am getting married at Sea Breeze Point.

Also, I have exit wands, tears of joy packets, and a small decoration for the cake table. How does this get handled? I'm pretty sure that my MOH will have to be in charge of that, but will she have time? Also, one of my guests wants to bring his camcorder to set up in the corner. Will he have a chance to do this? I am also sending all these questions to my planner, but I know she is super busy right now, and my fellow disbrides could probably hook me up a lot faster!

DH took all our bits with him and gave them to our planner when he got there.

Your guests should arrive in plenty of time to set up a camcorder.

Don't worry about a rehearsal. Your planner is going to be on top of that, no one will be left to "figure it out" on their own, your planner will be running the show

I had a Wishes wedding where we get a rehearsal and didn't have one, lol. Didn't need one anyway because my planner had it all under control

As mentioned no rehearsal is necessary. Your co-ordinator will meet you at the entrance where some pics will be taken. Then you will make your way down the boardwalk. The co-ordinator will tell your girls how to go down the walkway & when you should go. My cousin actually used our camcorder & taped us leaving our resort, met us at the front entrance and was all set up & taping when I arrived. The day went great! Your co-ordinator will take care of all. I had Tanis Armstrong & she was super great! I was so pleased with her.

Thanks ladies! I know that Tanis will be great and everything will go smoothly! I LOVE her!! She's fabulous! I guess that I just wish I knew what was going to happen so I could quit thinking about it. I blame it on being a writer AND a dance teacher/choreographer. As a writer, I like to plan things out and as a choreographer, I NEVER show up to a performance without a rehearsal. It's such a foreign concept to me! A SCARY foreign concept! I don't like winging it and not knowing ahead of time what I'm doing, even if my planner does! Wow, I sound like a control freak!!
