Escape VR-How Many Photos Do They Take?

Just wondering if anyone knows how many photos the Disney Photographer takes for an Escape Vow Renewal that is included in the $4000.

We get 20 4X6 shots in a photo album, and the rest online to order at extra cost.

Our coordinator gave us some options if we want the rights to the photos and we don't know if it worth the extra cost since we don't know how many photos they take.

We have to fax our requests by Monday and I can't contact Amy this weekend so I am asking my wise DIS friends if they know.

It really kinda depends...but you can count on anywhere from 60-100 shots.

We had (I think) about 70 and it was just DH and me, we didn't do a first dance and our entire ceremony only took about an hour and a half. I think our 70 shots was pretty good (almost 1 every minute or so).

But I have seen brides who got over 100...if they had guests and wanted bridal party shots, family shots, first dance, etc.

It is definitely worth it to pre-purchase stuff since there is usually a "discount". For example, we pre-purchased our proofs for $225 (if I remember correctly) and if we had waited, they would have charged us $5 each (which would have been nearly $350).

Purchasing the copyright to your pics is expensive. When I had my wedding I was given the option of waiting 3 years and getting the rights for $99. I have waited and will be able to get them at that price this September. But, I also know that Disney doesn't reduce the price that much anymore...you might ask about that option too and work that into your calculations.

Yeah, now the after-three-years price for purchasing your pix on disc is $350 (if you had an Escape wedding - it's $500 for Wishes).
