Day 5 - Part 2 - “A School Bus, A School Bus”

After our EMH was over we headed towards the front of the park to use our first FP of the day here:

There’s just something about this ride that is relaxing and just Disney at it’s best. I am looking forward to the new version of this ride that is coming in the next couple of years, but will definitely miss this ride in the mean time. Anyway, time to look into our future!

After this DS6 and I headed over to Test Track to use the child swap pass we had picked up earlier.

After the ride he wanted me to take a picture of him with this car. What I didn’t realize is that he had his mom do the same thing earlier in the day in front of the same car while DS2 and I were gone to ride Frozen.

Like I said, he loves his cars! He also enjoys trying the games at the exit.

After finishing up we headed into Mousegears to look around a bit. I found this mug that I just loved!! I definitely put this on my list of things I might want as souvenirs later on in the trip.

At 10:15 we headed into The Land and DS6 and I used a FP to ride this:

We had a great ride and picked up a child swap for DS6 and DW to use later on. I have in my notes that while we road DW went back to Spaceship Earth because we thought we left the camera there. I really have no recollection of this now, but I do know the camera is sitting here in the house, so I guess she found it! Haha

We met up with DW and grabbed her a Starbucks drink before taking a stop at one of our favorite placed, Club Cool.

I’m going to miss this place while the Epcot renovation is going on! After Club Cool we headed over at 11:05 for our next FP here:

This line always seems to crawl even when you have a FP. The boys did pretty good entertaining themselves this time! Of course by entertaining, I mean DS2 screaming "A School Bus, A School Bus" at the top of his lungs while playing with that Disney transport bus we got him as a souvenir. He is the loudest little human being I know! haha

I'm a big fan of Spaceship Earth, as well. I am sad we'll probably miss it on our next trip (I assume the changes will be underway) and I hope they do a good job on the update.

Mmmm... I see Via Napoli in your future!

Do you split any of your Fastpasses for the height restriction rides? I'm debating what we'll do for our trip and May (my husband and I are traveling with our one-year-old, who will certainly be too short for multiple attractions). Obviously picking up a child-swap for a standby ride makes sense, but I didn't know if we should split a few Fastpasses (such as getting one for me for Splash Mountain and one for him for BTMRR and then each of us getting a ride swap so the other can ride) in order to make the best use of a child swap pass? Most of our Fastpasses will be for the rides our daughter can ride too, but there are certainly a few big attractions I hate to miss! Also, when they provide the child swap, I understand they now load it onto the MDE for the person who is getting the swap. Do you scan your Magic Band to get it on the correct account? (Thank you in advance for helping me with all these questions - it's all new for me!)

We do exactly what you said, but our next trip will be the first where our youngest has a park pass of his own. He was still under 3 on our last trip. But we would do say a FP for me and DS6 on Splash and at the same time DW would have a FP for Magic Carpets or something like that. DW would get her band scanned at Splash along with DS6 as he would ride again with the child swap. While DS6 and I rode Splash, DW and DS2 could go ride Magic Carpets.

Now, some people still say this is "wrong" or "against the rules" since DW didn't have a Splash Mountain FP. But, on this coming trip our youngest, who will be 4 years old, will actually old enough to have a FP. So, if they made us use one for DW at Splash even though she was only riding with a child swap we could essentially be wasting DS4's FP as it's not like we can make him a FP to ride Magic Carpets by himself! He has to have a parent with us. That is why I think the way we've done it and the way you are talking about should still work. I don't know if that makes any sense. It was hard to put into words.

Day 5 - Part 3 - Pizza and Arancini...What Could Be Better?

We made it to the front of the Character Spot FP line pretty quickly, which isn’t always the case here as we’ve had some long FP waits here in the past. But we got in this time and had a great meet and greet.

DS2 is obviously as happy as can be! I mean isn’t this just the best:

After Mickey it was our turn with Goofy and DS2 was still super happy:

And finally the boys got to see Minnie.

It was 11:25 at this point and we had about 20 minutes to get to our ADR in World Showcase. Our plan was to jump on a Friendship Boat and head to the other side of the lake, but we got over and the boats weren’t running at that point. There wasn’t any weather or anything, I guess maybe they just didn’t start that early. So walking it was:

We made our way around to our lunch destinations, one of our favorites:

We always love Via Napoli, and the kids like pizza as well, so there are a lot of positives for this place. We checked in at 11:45 for an 11:50 reservation and were seated in just a couple of minutes.

DS2 was not super excited about a sit down meal at this point so it was a good thing we had a phone/ipad of some sort for him. We are pretty strict at home that the boys don’t spend much time on devices, but when we sit at a Disney restaurant we let them use it if it helps keep the peace during the meal! You guys know how that is right? Anyway, he was happy after that and even ate all of his pizza.

We started with the Arancini and DW and I both continue to love this dish. One of our favorite things here and at Disney World.

We alos got the Salami appetizer as the boys like the arancini as well. This was good, but we felt there wasn’t quite enough food for $9.50. I mean just like four little cubes of cheese and four small pieces of salami. It was tasty, but probably wouldn’t get it again.

DS6 was also busy working on his word search. This kid loves doing these things!

Before too long our pizza arrived. We got our usual, half quattro formaggi and half piccante.

The piccante side was really good and had a ton of sausage on it. The quattro side was just ok. The crust wasn’t very proportional on that side and got really thin and wasn’t cooked as good as normal. Also, the cheese didn’t appear to be spread out as much as normal either. So, it wasn’t just great, but still an enjoyable pizza for us.

The boys shared a kids cheese pizza along with some of our pizza and it was plenty of food. Both boys enjoyed the kids pizza! The service is always great here and I love them having the assistant servers as your drinks never get empty! Overall it was a good reservation and I think going in a little before noon was good too. Last summer we went in after noon and it was really crowded.

We headed out and took in some of the sights and entertainment of the Italy Pavilion before moving on.

We stopped by American and Japan as we were walking over towards the International Gateway as it was time for an afternoon break.

DW had a collage she made this morning as well.

And finally to the International Gateway just after 1:00.

Those pictures from Character Spot are the BEST! DS2 looks absolutely beside himself with joy in all of those pictures. What a wonderful memory of the trip!

The salami appetizer does seem ridiculously overpriced for what you get. I've only gotten an appetizer there once (the Arancini) since I usually save room for dessert. It's too bad the cheese was sparse on the cheese portion of your pizza, but I'm glad it was an overall good experience!

DS2 was so happy to meet the characters on this trip. He was a little shy the summer before, but not this time!

Day 5 - Part 4 - So, I Can’t Just Buy a Hot Dog?

We were heading out of Epcot by 1:05 PM after lunch at Via Napoli. We decided to take the boat back to the Dolphin. We did wait about 5 minutes for a boat and another 5 before it was loaded up and leaving, but the boys definitely enjoy riding these!

I just love the views you get from the boats in the Epcot resort area.

We were ready to use this pool later on in our trip!

By about 1:30 we were docking at the Swan after stopping at the Boardwalk and Yacht/Beach.

We headed up and were in the room a few minutes later. DS2 loved looking out the window at this resort!

It was a great view of Hollywood Studios and the Swan/Dolphin area.

DS2 was ready for a nap at this point and so he laid down with DW. DS6 and I went for a little pool time and I didn’t take my phone or camera since it was just us going, but we had a great time exploring the pool. DS6 really enjoyed the big waterfall area.

We headed back up to the room about 2:45 and DS6 asked me, “Dad, can I just play with my cars while he sleeps?” I was kind of wanting to take a nap myself, but DW was ready to get up and so they headed back down to the lobby for a bit. DS6 loved playing with his cars here the day before. All of the big tables and chairs for him to drive his cars on was perfect!

DS2 woke up around 4:00 and I texted DW and they came back up. By about 5:00 we were all rested, but we were not planning on going to a park tonight. We were just going to wander over to the Boardwalk and get some dinner. We had no idea where we were eating though, just going to be spontaneous.

The boys just had to bring their sunglasses with them:

We got over to the Boardwalk and the boys were saying they wanted hot dogs and I knew the little window on the boardwalk had hot dogs and other fried stuff because we’d seen the menu walking by. The resort staff was doing some activities for the kids when we got over there.

We headed on down to the window, but unfortunately found out that the little food stand was not open and it actually looked like it hadn’t been open for a while, who knew? I guess the Boardwalk isn’t crowded enough to need that open.

So, at that point we were left with the option of pizza, which we had just had for lunch, so no one wanted that...Or, the Boardwalk Bakery. We headed into the Bakery, but DW didn’t see anything she wanted and they really don’t have any kids options, so I ended up ordering an Italian Sandwich and we decided we’d run by the quick service place at the Dolphin before we swam that evening.

The Italian Sandwich was really good and the ratio of meat to cheese to lettuce to mayo was really good. Nothing overpowered anything else, so I definitely enjoyed this. The boys also wanted one of these:

They were as delicious as they looked and each of the boys ate theirs in full, although DW and I may have snuck a few bites. We’re the parents, we can do that, right?

At this point we were going to look around the Boardwalk a bit and see if any entertainers came out but the sky started looking really dark so we decided to head back as we didn’t want to get caught in the storm. When we got back to the Dolphin we noticed the fountain was running, first time all trip.

When we got back we went to the room to get our swim suits on, hoping the rain would pass while we got some dinner for DW and the boys. While we changed DS6 was still very obsessed with his cars:

We headed down at about 6:45 to Picabu, which is the closest thing the Dolphin has to a quick service, although it is more like a cafeteria where you get your food going down a line. The weird thing about this place was that there isn’t a menu of any type. You just have to walk down the line and ask what everything is, the ordering system was super unorganized and the staff were not super helpful.

As we walked down the line we did notice they had a hot dog though so I asked for two hot dogs. They said ok, those come with two sides each and I the boys did not want any sides since they had just had cinnamon rolls. They informed me I had to get a kids meal, which was $7.50. I said, can I not just get the hot dog a la carte? I figured surely they’d give me that for $3 or $4. But no, only the meal, so we decided to just get one meal and they could share the hot dog and we got two sides of mac ‘n cheese with the meal. They didn’t eat it all, so we made the right decision, but what kind of place wouldn’t sell me just a hot dog.

DW got the chips and guacamole for dinner and I didn’t get a picture, but she enjoyed it. We got the queso later in the trip and she said it was much better than the guacamole. One thing I did like was they had a neat little salsa bar in the seating area with 5-6 different salsa types and they were all really good.

By the time we finished eating, around 7:15, it was still storming and didn’t look like it would end anytime soon. So, we just relaxed and let the boys play with their cars in the room. We went ahead and put them in bed around 8:00, which was good for them, and I went down to do a load of laundry. I brought DW some ice cream back to the room:

At some point in the night I was walking and got a picture of the neat trees with lights on them between the Swan and Dolphin.

Anyway, DW and I were in bed tonight by about 9:45 ourselves. We were all a bit tired, but nothing a good night's rest wouldn’t fix.

What a frustrating experience to find food! Of all things, I'm really surprised it was so difficult to get a hot dog. I'm glad you were able to find one (even if the sides went to waste) and you were able to find a tasty meal for yourself. The sandwich looks quite good!

Agreed! Rest time is so important!

It was really weird they wouldn't just sell us a hamburger. I guess that's a convention hotel for you instead of a Disney hotel.

Day 6 - Part 1 - This Is Like Checking Out at Wal-Mart

We left off getting in bed early the night before as we knew this morning would be an early one with 8 AM EMH at the Magic Kingdom. We have become a fan of morning EMH at MK the last couple of trips because you can cover a lot of attractions in that hour. We were up and getting dressed by 6:50. We stopped to fill up our water bottles with ice and water and then headed to the bus stop. When we got down there a MK bus was completely full and there was still a ton of people waiting. So, we decided to try out taking a Minnie Van to the park. We got connected with a driver pretty quickly.

As we were boarding out Minnie Van a second bus pulled up and was starting to load people, but it would have been questionable if we would have even gotten on this bus.

Our Minnie Van driver was great again and got the car seat for DS2 installed quickly and we were off.

We got to the MK by 7:30, so the Minnie Van was definitely a time saver. We did our usual where I take the stroller and boys through the no bag line at security and DW took the bag through bag check. It took her about five minutes this morning so the boys got a little photo session with me while we waited.

DW was through quick enough and we headed inside.

There was a big crowd headed to Tomorrowland with us, but most of them were going to Space Mountain, we had FP’s for that later on.

At 8:00 we headed in and went straight to Astroorbiter. We like this at rope drop. Any other time it is a slow line and slow loader, but early in the day it is always easy to get on. DS6 loves this ride! I think DW and DS2 did Buzz Lightyear while we did this one.

After that we all went over to the Speedway. I didn’t even know DS2 would be tall enough to ride on this, but he was, so that was a nice bonus! What wasn’t a nice bonus was that there was a five minute wait posted and it took us about 20 minutes to get on. Not terrible any other time, but we were burning up our Extra Magic Hour on this. I wasn’t happy when I saw the reason why it was taking so long. They have 24 loading areas for this ride and they were only using 4. So, you see why I told DW this is like checking out at Wal Mart where they have 40 checkout areas and just a few check out people working! I mean, I find it ridiculous to open up and only us 4 of 24 spots. I mean, at least open half of your capacity.

Despite this, we had a fun ride, especially since DS2 was able to ride.

If you can't tell by the picture, DS2 was mad that he couldn't be the one driving! We were off at around 8:45 and headed over to Buzz Lightyear for all of us and waited only about 5 minutes to ride.

DS6 wanted a picture after defeating Zurg.

After this the park was open to the public and we were headed up towards Fantasyland, but not before we saw a fun photopass picture spot.

We got to a favorite ride of the boys in Fantasyland at about 9:05:

We enjoyed the ride...or should I say, DS6 and DS2 enjoyed the ride!

After the ride we saw a PP photographer right there so we stopped to get a shot of the boys!

That was my spinning ride for the morning and now we were back into Tomorrowland to use a FP.

It's so frustrating when rides aren't loading more efficiently! I feel the same way when they don't use enough elevators at ToT or both sides of Big Thunder Mountain. It's too bad it took such a long time to get on the ride! (Also, my solution to the Wal-Mart/Target conundrum is to use the self check-out lanes. Minimal to no wait!)

I know. Self check out has been a great thing in my opinion! I kind of understand on something like space or Big Thunder only running one train as long as the line isn't building, but as soon as that line starts building get the other one up and running!

Day 6 - Part 2 - “More Popcorn Please”

It was time for our first FP of the day:

Yes, at Space Mountain! DS6 and I went and grabbed a child swap for DW to use later. While we were riding DW went ahead and got us one of the refillable popcorn buckets. DS2 had been asking for popcorn and it is a pretty good deal to be able to refill for pretty cheap with those buckets. More on this later!

After a fun ride DS6 had to check out some of the lightsabers in the gift shop.

On our way out to find DW and DS2 we saw Mrs. Incredible and DS6 wanted to stop and see her. There was no one waiting, so we must have seen her right as she came out.

We met back up with DW and DS2 and made our way out of Tomorrowland at about 9:30 heading across the park.

We arrived here a few minutes later!

7 - DW AND BOYS IN ADVENTURELAND

We were coming to take a ride on Magic Carpets and we waited about 5 minutes to get spit on by some camels!

DS2 was loving the ride this time!

After the ride DS6 wanted to go over and see if a camel would spit on him, it took a few seconds, but he succeeded.

Of course if one kid gets to do it the other one talks his way out of the stroller to go do it too!

We were going to get on Pirates at this point, but the wait was already 45 minutes at 10:00 AM, definitely going to pass on that for now. It was about this time that DS2, who had been holding the popcorn bucket hostage, looked up and said, “More Popcorn Please”. That 2 year old had eaten all of the popcorn in that bucket in about 45 minutes. I’m not kidding and in the spirit of Christmas, “I wouldn’t be more surprised if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet.” So, like any great parent would do we got the boy a fill up on popcorn! We made our way over to Big Thunder at 10:25 for our next FP for DS6 and myself, again getting a child swap for DW.

After a great ride here and DS2 putting down a bunch more popcorn while we rode, we headed over for a FP for all of us on Jungle Cruise. We got in the FP line at about 10:45 and waited about 20 minutes. It was a pretty crowded morning. We had a fun ride though.

Our wait was 20 minutes with a FP and the line wasn't outside of the queue like this yet. That 20 minute wait was a little much for DS6 and by the time this ride was over he wasn’t behaving very well. I mean we wish a Disney vacation was all sunshine and rainbows, but sometimes kids don’t behave and we have to be parents. So, we decided that the appropriate parenting response was to head back for a nap. This did mean we were forgoing a Seven Dwarfs FP, which was hard to stomach, but we had to put our parenting hats on. DS6 wasn’t happy, but our experience is if we do something like this during a trip he tends to do a little better going forward. We were passing town hall at 11:30

Of course, DS2 requested another popcorn refill on our way out! Bucket #3 in 2 hours.

We got to the bus stop around 11:40 and a bus came quickly and we were back and napping by 12:20. The boys ate some cereal and stuff in the room for lunch and I planned on going to get me and DW something while they slept.

Day 6 - Part 3 - A Tour of the Dolphin

We were able to get the boys down for an early nap, around 12:20, and I went down and brought back some food for DW and I. I think I got us burgers from The Fountain. For some reason I didn’t get any pictures, probably because the room was dark and we were trying to stay quiet. Anyways, while the boys were sleeping I went and walked around the Dolphin grounds since we were leaving the next day. Here are some pictures of my walk. Lobby are of the Dolphin:

Fuel is a shop in the lobby that has a coffee shop area, some grab and go items, and candy.

There is also a small Disney Store on the lobby level down a little hallway.

Downstairs on the lower level is Picabu. This is the cafeteria style restaurant, but they also have a small snack and grab & go section.

Here is the seating area for Picabu:

Some more walking out towards the pool area, which is shared between the Swan and Dolphin.

There is also a playground around the pool.

The Bluezoo restaurant is a signature style dining spot and is located on the lower level.

Right across from Bluezoo is The Fountain.

Up the escalator on the lobby level is the Mandara Spa.

I went back to the room and napped a little myself before everyone got up at around 3:00. We went down to swim just a bit this afternoon. We only swam for about 45 minutes as we had a dinner reservation to get to and it is one we love!!

After swimming it was about 4:00 and we went back to the room and DW and I packed up some of our stuff since we were moving to the Yacht Club the next morning. We got that chore done and everyone got cleaned up and ready to head to one of our favorite dinners at the Beach Club!

Hello! I am back! December is when I fall off the face of the earth. But I am back now!

Well...this seems to happen every fall during football season, but it has been a crazy last several months. As I've said before I'm a FB coach and Athletic Director so football season is needless to say "CRAZY"!!! But, it just ended and I'm back and trying to get caught up on stuff. I wish I had a good method to not let my trip report lapse for 3-4 months every fall, but I've yet to figure that method out!

Let me know what you figure out because I am behind as well!

I've already purchased Annual Passes for DW and myself in advance of our trip next summer and so we are excited about getting the planning process rolling for that trip too!

We started going back when it was just $28 per person to attend the part and now it is $69 and I think going up to $89 in February, so it’s undergone quite a big price increase and not a lot has changed about the experience. I guess that’s how things go at Disney!

I think the price increase for us might have been over the top for us, at least for awhile.

The only negative to the after fireworks party that we found was that the kids were definitely tired at this point, especially DS2, but hey...perk up kid, you’re at Disney World. Not to mention your parents are veterans and we are going to let you sleep in as long as you want tomorrow!

YES!!! The last 2 times, the fireworks should have been an hour or 2 earlier and then they pushed it out later. A little too late.

Oh my...that is one of my most favorite sights! DW also wasted no time in telling our server she was going to need her own biscuits and gravy. She got an eye roll from the server, but eventually he brought these.

there should be no roling of the eyes at Disney, especially at a All you care to eat restaurant.

We don’t eat here that often as DW is not a fan of this type of food, but DS6 and I enjoy it. DS2 didn’t eat much on this trip except for mac and cheese and french fries. So we just got him a side of french fries here.

We have just accepted that Gwen will eat French Fries most of the trip.

The boys were loving the dance party and dancing quite a lot with all, especially when Chip and Dale came out dressed as dinosaurs. At some point a couple of people in “suits” came over to us and asked if they could video our boys for a promo video they were shooting.

That is pretty cool!

DS6 went to do it, but he was really shy on camera. I told the lady, “Sorry, he’s the quiet and shy kid.” DS2 would talk to anyone about anything, but they wanted kids a little older than that. She did say she asked him what kind of dinosaurs Chip and Dale were and DS6 was the only kid that had gotten interviewed that knew they were a triceratops and stegosaurus. Anyway, he did great and we may or may not have bribed him with picking a new toy if he did it. It was a neat experience.

Do you know if he made it into the promo video at all? Pretty cool, no matter what.

We were at the International Gateway by 7:45 and were inside the park by 7:50.

Being over that way is pretty amazing!

DS2 enjoyed the ride and we actually got right back in line and did it again as the line was just as short! DS2 enjoyed this gift shop after the ride...

That is pretty awsome, I haven't waited in the Standby line for that yet.

RIP Club Cool.

DS2 was not super excited about a sit down meal at this point so it was a good thing we had a phone/ipad of some sort for him. We are pretty strict at home that the boys don’t spend much time on devices, but when we sit at a Disney restaurant we let them use it if it helps keep the peace during the meal! You guys know how that is right? Anyway, he was happy after that and even ate all of his pizza.

Every once in awhile you just have to do what you can do to survive.

Of course, DS2 requested another popcorn refill on our way out! Bucket #3 in 2 hours.

Hello! I am back! December is when I fall off the face of the earth. But I am back now!

It will come out later in this TR, but being able to do the Gold Pass due to our DVC membership makes this possible!

I think the price increase for us might have been over the top for us, at least for awhile.

I know. It is nuts what has happened to that. I think we are going to do Villains After Hours this summer. We can do it for $115 for DVC members and that isn't much more than dessert party and it includes desserts and a bunch of ride time with low crowds. I haven't decided for sure, but leaning that way.

YES!!! The last 2 times, the fireworks should have been an hour or 2 earlier and then they pushed it out later. A little too late.

Yes, ours happened at 9:00 and it was still late.

I can totally understand with little kids.

You just never know what you're going to get with Uber/Lyft as far as the car seat goes.

We have just accepted that Gwen will eat French Fries most of the trip.

That is DS2 for sure. And wait until I do a report on our cruise from this past summer. It was all french fries!

Do you know if he made it into the promo video at all? Pretty cool, no matter what.

I never saw anything with him in it. Not surprising since he wouldn't really talk much at all. I looked a few times, back around that time, but that's it.

Being over that way is pretty amazing!

I know. Maybe one of my favorite spots for a resort. I mean we love some other resorts like Wilderness Lodge and stuff, but being this close to Epcot and Studios is great.

That is pretty awsome, I haven't waited in the Standby line for that yet.

I was surprised the line was still so short. I guess the rope drop crowd had gone elsewhere since it was down when the park opened.

Hopefully it will be back sooner rather than later. Not sure how we'll make it through a hot summer day.

Agreed! All bets are off at Disney too. They are so over stimulated from all of the stuff to do anyway you just try to get through with everyone having fun and having the best attitude you can.

Day 6 - Part 4 - Who Wants Some Seafood?

We headed out at about 4:45 to get over to our dinner reservation at the Beach Club. Cape May Cafe is one of our favorites for sure!! It was raining a little on the way over so DW put her poncho on. Got to protect that hair you know!

We were eventually to the Yacht Club and could take the covered walkway over to the Beach Club.

We arrived right at 5:00 for a 5:05 ADR and waited just a few minutes.

We were seated, next to one of these great sandcastles, after waiting just five minutes or so.

We headed right up for some food and the boys were excited by this:

As you can see by DS6’s plate it consisted of Mac ‘n Cheese and more...cheese!

And DS2’s plate. We tried with a little chicken, but mostly cheese based dishes for him.

The boys actually said they didn’t love the mac ‘n cheese, although they ate a bunch of it. Probably didn’t like it as much as the quick service stuff because this was real mac ‘n cheese. DW and I loved it!

I started off with some clam strips, crab, and calamari. The crab was excellent as usually. The clam strips were good, although I think I prefer the night when they do fried shrimp over the clam strips night. The Calamari was good tool.

I also love the caesar salad here. I know, that is a weird thing to enjoy, but I enjoy a good salad with my meal!

I have a picture of another plate here, not sure who’s it is, but more mac ‘n cheese, clam strips, and some hummus. I remember trying the hummus and it was good.

We also enjoyed the grilled chicken legs that were on the buffet. DS6 actually really like these and DS2 ate some of the meat. Of course I had to get some more crab:

After dinner we hit up the desserts. First, there was a cookie station:

Then there are just several types of single serving desserts. These are all ok, but nothing just spectacular.

I think the chocolate chip cookies were good and the little brownies that you see on the plate that you can drizzle some caramel sauce on top of.

Overall this was a great meal. The service from our waitress was ok, although it never seems to be anything special here, except the one time when the lady cracked DW’s crab for her! Wwe still love this place and the boys were on great behavior tonight, which is always a good thing!

We checked out the Beach Club lobby a bit after eating.

We headed outside at about 6:20, so not too long of a meal and were on our way over to Epcot for a few hours in the world showcase. The Crescent Lake area looked awesome though as the rain was ending.

I had thought about doing a Villians After Hours for our Feb trip, but I don't think we want to see any of the actual Villians stuff. And I am not sure it will be worth it without it.
