Erin Moran of Happy Days Has Passed Away

I thought she was pretty messed up in recent years. Way too much drinking and smoking kind of does in the body.

I saw she had an appearance at a tribal casino I'd occasionally go to. The photo they used was of her in her 20s.

I just saw this. As shocking as it is, I was even more shocked to read that she'd been living in Indiana! I had no idea! I had to look up where Harrison County was. It's in the south eastern part of the state, right on the Ohio River.

RIP Erin.

I found some video of her appearance that I mentioned earlier. She didn't look like a total train wreck, but they certainly didn't use then current images to promote her appearance.

I think she's had problems for many years, but it's still sad. I remember she accused fellow Happy Days actors of being evil and molesting her. I remember thinking either it was a conspiracy or she had mental health problems.

How sad. I am not sure that child stars are as lucky as it may seem they are. She seemed to be so troubled after that period in her life.

I hadn't heard that she did that, but with her addiction issues and the interview I saw with her, mental health issues do make sense. It was heartbreaking to me to see her at 50, looking like she was 70, and looking so unhappy.

I haven't googled any pictures but in the videos above she didn't look all that bad; pretty typical for mid 50's. She seemed trim, energetic and engaged in what she was doing. Nobody wasted any time or energy on hair, make-up or wardrobe for that appearance though, that's for sure - zero glamour-factor.

That interview was from 2011, when she was 48.

There were other pictures, googled "Erin Moran homeless" I don't know if she really was homeless, but there are photos.
