Equipment hire - Hospital Bed

Hi,
We’re from the UK and we’ve been to WDW many times. We always stay at The Contemporary Resort.
Usually we hire a shower chair for our son from Orlando Medical Rentals.

We’ve got a trip booked in January 2026 and for ages I’ve been trying to find out how to hire a hospital bed.
Basically, I just want to know who best to contact, to see if this is allowed and how to get our room prepared for the bed.
I know I can order the bed from Orlando Medical Rentals.

I’ve tried contacting Disneys special needs and they just direct me to AdventHealth.
I’ve looked at the AdventHealth website and I can’t find the information I need.
There is a contact form but every time I enter any details it won’t accept them.

Can anyone help or have any suggestions ?

Would that even be allowed? I know roll aways aren't.

Yes, a hospital bed should be allowed. I believe they will remove a bed from the room to make space.

OP - have you asked Orlando Medical Rentals about their process? They may have a WDW contact.

That’s my next step then.
I was going to email them and ask for a quote. I can ask them if they can help.
Any info I found on the topic has been from 2008.
