EpiPen question

For those who have children that need an EpiPen and utilize the children's clubs, how is this handled? Do they wear them while in the clubs or maybe give them to the CM to hold? Wondering what the protocol is.
 
My understanding is the EpiPens are checked with the CM at the desk when the kids arrive, and be sure to get it back when you pick-up the kids. That is for the Club/Lab. I assume Edge and Vibe age kids carry their own.
 
Yes, on the first day you need to go register with the CM at the kids clubs. They also have a color coded allergy tag that goes on their magic band. My daughter was old enough to check herself in/out, so she would bring the pen with her (and sometimes they would call my cabin to tell me she forgot the pen lol).

They did do some food-related activities, which I was told were peanut free, but I just felt more comfortable with her epipen being within reach - never had to use it though!
 
Thanks for this info! I hadn’t even thought of this for my little guy with a severe cashew/pistachio allergy!
