we are going this year with family for epilepsy awareness day. On Nov they say they are keeping the park numbers down. How busy can we expect the park to be? This is a c&p of the wording about park numbers.

"WHAT : a day of excitement at Disneyland, paired with the gathering of 2500 guests, all wearing the event T-Shirts and waving our signs. We have worked with Disney officials to assure that we have a very low, general attendance at the park, so that our event truly engulfs the entire park in our signature, Mickey Mouse event t-shirts."

I have a friend who goes every year with his granddaughter. I've also been to deaf awareness day. These are unofficial events and the park is otherwise open to all guests. Disney schedules these more like conventions, which is how they offer hotel discounts and park tickets. They usually give a choice of dates, and the organizers pick one that historically has low attendance. But they're not closed or private events.

The way it's written is odd.

Now, the date might have been chosen because it might tend to be slower on a mid-week day, the week after Halloween the week before Veteran's Day, but they can't limit general attendance. The date is allowed for all AP holders, which means they aren't anticipating massive crowds.

From another thread, be warned that the new World of Color has some very strobey effects, and might cause some problems for some in your group.

Well its on a Thursday in November, so the nice part is no night time entertainment more then likely and before the Christmas lights are up. (which for this day is actually really important)

The way it's written is odd almost sounds like they are stopping after a certain point in a way. But that just sounds of for Disney since they don't close the park for events like this, that I have seen.

I forgot the date it's nov 5th which is a Thursday so no night shows.
