Epic ticket as part of a Universal resort package

Just wanted to make sure I was understanding because I had heard when people purchase tickets to Epic they have to select which day they want to go and that some days are selling out. We bought a one day at universal IOA or USF and one day at epic ticket with our package and it just asked what day we wanted our ticket window to start. Am I correct that we can go to Epic any day in that range?

Yes, with a package you only need to select a start date and go to Epic (for 1 day) anytime during the assigned range.
