Epic Mickey Help

I need some help with the Epic Mickey game. My DS got tricked into trading Small Pete's ship log to a gremlin and now he is in the stage where small pete is inside the colisium and is mad because he dosen't have it. How do we beat this stage? Can we move forward without starting the game over completely?

Please help
