Thanks! You were way more adventurous than me with your tie-dye. I would LOVE a tie-dye Mickey shirt though

You'll have to let me know if any of our plans intersect with yours - a DIS meet would be fabulous!

12 more days!!!! :banana::banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1::

I'm just a little excited!

So. Where were we? Oh yes. Having dinner at Les Chefs. Where I am hopefully going to show Angie the joys of escargots. I just love, love, love them. And their garlicy, buttery goodness. Delish. On trip #4 in November, the girls and I are going to Les Chefs too. I have a feeling that we might JUST eat escargots :lovestruc

Anyway...after dinner, depending on the time. And if we managed to see Illuminations the night before - we'll either stay for Illuminations - or hop over to Magic Kingdom for evening EMH. Or I suppose there is always the chance that the moms will have petered out and we'll head back to the resort for bed.

On Monday, Hollywood studios is the plan. We have to be at rope drop so that we can get out TSM fast passes. I figure with my scooter, I can get there faster than Angie. But then again, with the throngs, I might get cut off more than I care to admit. We'll have to see how it goes. After fast passes are secured - what should we do? Ride TSM? Head over to RnR? Star Tours? Advise?? I really like TSM. I love Buzz too. That whole game/ride combo gets my competitive spirit going! Not that I am any good at it. It's just fun!

We have lunch reservations at the Sci Fi dine in. I have eaten here twice with my kiddos. And while the food is not fabulous - if you order what you should - burgers, onion rings, and a shake - it is rather fabulous -- it's the atmosphere that I just love. And since we are a party of two, I am guessing that we'll be in the back seat of the car - hitchhiking with another family's meal. Wonder if they'll mind being in a picture with us? ;)

The plan is to spend the evening - and the evening extra magic hours at HS. We want to rise TSM as many times as possible. And RnR lots and lots. See shows - Beauty and the Beast (which my kids like - but aren't keen on seeing it more than the one time we've seen it!) - American Idol. Not sure if we'll do Fantasmic or not. Actually, according to my spread sheet, they aren't showing it this night - but I thought they were doing it every night. I'll have to double check.

And we have to try some cupcakes from Starring Rolls. And I kinda want some of that carrot cake cookie from umm...where's it from? Writer's something. Note to self: find real name and location of the "writer's something."

On Tuesday, we have to get up early as we have an 8:05am ADR at the Crystal Palace. This is my favorite breakfast - and that puffed french toast - I've been listening to its siren call for years - and three years of said calling makes me drool about it right now  We'll spend our morning at the MK - and then we'll probably head back to the resort because. Well. We are moms. And have this tendency to clothe our children well. But not ourselves. So. Lacking in the huge wardrobe, it just might be laundry day.

After some pool time and laundry time, we'll head over to Epcot for the evening. We don't have any mornings scheduled at Epcot - so hopefully there will be a way to get in to Soarin' and Test Track. At some point! We have ADRs tonight at 8pm at Teppan Edo. Yum! I haven't eaten here in 5 years - back when it was called something else that I cannot recall - and I'm really looking forward to it!

Up next:
Will we ever go to Animal Kingdom?
When does our 3rd mom join the party??

I cannot believe you guys have less than 2 weeks before you leave! (16 more days for me.. sigh)

I have not heard of this carrot cake cookie! More info, please...

The Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwich is at the Writer's Stop in HS. It's Carrot Cake slices with cream cheese icing sandwiched in between them. Disney Food Blog has a good picture HERE.

It's on my must do list for my October trip.

Writer's Stop is on Commissary Lane, near the Sci Fi diner and the ABC Commissary.

Thanks for the info, Lisa Marie!

But. Oy vey.

I've said this on my own PTR, but I really should stay off the Disney Food Blog! Because now I want to add this Carrot Cake Cookie to the (ever-growing) list of snacks I want to try:

Any (or all) of the cupcakes at Starring Rolls (particularly the Butterfinger and Chocolate Peanut Butter ones!)

Brownie Sandwich at EoS

Cinnamon Roll at Main Street Bakery

And those are just the goodies I can remember off the top of my head!

Hey stranger! I am dying for you to update your TR - I want to know what happened to get that title!:)

I so hope our plans will cross - especially since we missed each other over the summer. We arrive on Nov 17 - but I haven't made resort reservations yet  - but I am hoping to get my agent discount at AKL. And my thoughts now are Fri - MK (I haven't decided about the xmas party - but am leaning towards not doing it), Sat - HS (we are eating at the Sci Fi for lunch), Sun - EP (dinner in France) and Mon - AK. At least those are the plans for the moment. I am always open to changes!

We are doing the Christmas Party Friday night. We will be arriving that morning so hoping beyond hope that the room will be ready so we can get some rest. That is all I have set right now other than a CP package the day after Thanksgiving. I will look at the rest of the days soon and see if we can cross paths!

11 days now!!!! For both of us!!! Although the girls only trip sounds so amazing, I'm jealous. ;)

WL is awesome, gorgeous resort, wonderful atmosphere, you'll enjoy it I'm sure. If the main pool is too busy, walk around to the Villas quiet pool, it was almost always almost empty and so peaceful there when we went last year, but then the kids discovered the main pool with the slide and only wanted to go there from then on. :lmao: And if you're interested walk into the Villas lobby and see Walt's train collection, it's nice in there as well, a mini museum.

First - welcome Lisa Marie!! And thanks for the info on the Writer's stop. We were at HS twice this summer - and I never noticed bakery. And we walked that way. And ate at the ABC commissary. I keep hearing that it's tucked away - well, it really must be!! (And when are you going in October??)

Pixie Mama - I want that carrot cake cookie, and the cupcakes and the cinnamon roll from the main street bakery. We might just need to split them. :thumbsup2

I need to check the AP rates for the xmas party. I am just not sure that it's in the budget. Have ya'll been before? I guess my issue is that the big draw is all the cool extra characters that are out - and my girls are not really into that - they just want to ride. But I would think it wouldn't be too crowded this night. Ack. I just don't know. With having an AP, I am not sure I can justify the cost!! But...we do plan to do MK during the day (though if my mind is changed, we will probably do something else during the day) - so if ya'll come to the party early (4ish) I am sure we can meet up then. Do look at your other dates and let me know what you think. We HAVE to cross paths this time!!

I can't wait for WL - my first deluxe!!

And speaking of crossing paths - looking at my schedule/plans - do we overlap? I'd love to cross paths - even if Pixie Mama won't be with us quite yet.

The last I checked there are no DVC or AP discounts that night which is a huge bummer. However, I think it will not be that crowded. I love the parade. We went 3 years ago on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It rained so the entire parade did not run so I am anxious to see the whole thing. We didn't do any characters but really want to this time even if I have to go myself. I loved the Holiday Wishes as well but you could see them from the Poly Beach if you wanted to not spend the money. I don't think it will be that crowded either or at least I am hoping it won't be.

Thanks, I've been lurking/reading for awhile now...

We are going October 25-Nov 1 and staying at POP.

I did look I think and we don't really cross, as far as I remember. I might be changing things up a bit now, DH is now getting involved and making suggestions, oh the horror!:scared1: Now we wants input, sorry buddy, too late. We'll be at MK on Friday afternoon (arrival day 26th), DHS most of Saturday, MK Sunday then F! that night I think, AK Monday, EPcot Tuesday and not sure what on Wednesday yet.

Well, I am so glad that you decided to say "Hi" - and point me in the direction of the carrot cake cookie! And we are just going to miss you in October - we check out on Oct 24!

We really don't cross do we?! Well...we could cross on Tuesday. We will be at MK in the morning - but in Epcot by evening (depending on the need to do laundry!) - we do have an ADR in Japan that night. Maybe we could meet up 6ish on Tuesday in Epcot??

Single digits bay-be!!! Nine more days! party:

We left off on Tuesday, August 30th - with Angie and I having dinner at Teppan Edo in Japan. I wish that they had fried rice as an option besides just white rice. But. Still. Yumm-o!

After dinner we will head back to the resort for the evening because we have to get up early tomorrow - I want to be at rope drop for am emh at Animal Kingdom!

I think the first order of business will be to get fast passes for expedition Everest and then mosey over to Kilimanjaro Safaris. Or maybe we'll ride EE before we mosey. Or maybe we'll even ride it twice. :goodvibes Other things on the agenda for today: Festival of the Lion King, Nemo, and maybe Dinosaur. I will not be riding KRR - as I am sure that I will already be hot and sticky and damp. And the whole idea of being completely drenched. In my clothes. Well. Yuck.

We have a lunch ADR at the Yaking Yeti at noon. My family and I ate there in 2009 - and I wish I could remember what I had. But I do remember what my husband had - the crispy mahi-mahi. I am not a huge fan of fish - but this was delish. And because I am not a huge fan of fish, I am somewhat hesitant to order it in case it doesn't live up to my memory. Anyone have a favorite meal here?

I am not sure how late into the afternoon we'll stay - though we ought to take bets on how many rides on EE we can fit into one day! It's possible we'll stay for a while. Or do laundry if it didn't get done the day before. Or we might head back to the pool to chill before we clean up for our evening ADR - 7:35 at Boma! This was tops on Angie's list for ADRs. I have not been for dinner (breakfast is good!) - so I am excited to try something new. And excited to check out the resort as this is in the running for our November resort.

After Boma, we'll head back to pop and wait for Shannon (ie, Pixie Mama) to arrive from the Magical Express.

Up next:
Three moms take on 4 parks in three days!

We have a dinner ADR at Whispering Canyon that night then we'll probably go to MK afterwards. We'll be at Epcot that morning. I'll be updating Facebook as I go, so you never know.

Yay for single digits..

You have a thanksgiving trip now! What dates will you be there?

Man...we seem to be zigging when you are zagging! I need to look back and see where you are again - we have to cross somehow! Oh. I know! Instead of coming in early to dodge Irene, just stay an extra day so you can cross paths with Pixie Mama too. Problem solved :thumbsup2

Big "Yay" for single digits!! Thanksgiving is planned for November 17-22nd. But, I don't even have a reservation yet. I was hoping to pay for it from the classes that I teach - and I have even less students than last year - so I am not positive that it will happen. But I am crossing my fingers! When do you arrive?

I had to look on to find out about your Year of Disney! Have only read the first page so far but it looks awesome :thumbsup2

I love all your pics and yours girls look lovely. Bringing friends along is an amazing idea, I have a sister who is 13 (much younger than me!) and she would love to do this!

Looking forward to hearing more :)
