Where is the WS Plaza and the Tree Stage? Does anyone know the time for Lights of Winter?

The walkway is just over the bridge, actually part of the bridge, from FutureWorld to World Showcase. There are beautiful arches that go over this area and they change colors at night. At the end of this walkway is where the Epcot Christmas Tree and stage area are. If you stood in front of the big dancing fountain in FutureWorld and looked straight towards World Showcase, you would see it. It's very hard to miss. The Lights of Winter usually come on after the tree is lit. (at least that's how I remember is happening). And it is quite wonderful to behold....one of my favorite things to see during the holidays!!

Can anyone tell me how long the tree lighting ceremony goes?

Is there a short "show" with Mickey and friends before they light the tree, kinda like the little productions they have to open the parks?

Do the Lights of Winter continue to sparkle after the tree lighting until park close?

And finally, is it a reasonable plan to be at the Tree Plaza in time to see the tree lighting and then take a leisurely stroll down the walkway under the tree of lights on the way back to the buses and hotel? I'm trying to figure out how much time to allow, and if that will get us back home relatively early so we are rested for MVMCP the next day!
