EPCOT World Showcase - 12th Nation?

Given the huge success of Black Panther's cinematic release, do you think the folks at Disney World are considering how profitable a 12th World Showcase nation focusing on Wakanda would be?

Animal Kingdom has extended to the fictional realm of Pandora. Hollywood Studios is world-building in an immersive Star Wars landscape.

Highly unlikely but it was something I jokingly said to my wife after we watched the movie.

They really should just make the Africa Outpost a true African country representation in the WS. Not just a little stand selling hot dogs and chips.

Agree about the Outpost in WS. Not knowing the history, this always seemed like a placeholder for something else that was planned at some point but then dropped. Then I hear of rumblings of Brazil being considered, but the location depicted was somewhere else along WS.

Of course now if Disney decided to make the outpost an "official" showcase, it would undoubtedly be seen as part of some Black Panther tie in.

The story I've heard was that Africa was indeed a place holder for a full pavilion, but then Animal Kingdom happened, and with that, there was really no point in an Africa pavilion in Epcot.

ZERO chance of a "fictional" Country for the Showcase EVER IMHO.

The rumor of Brazil coming to the area between Germany and Italy seems to have the most "smoke" of any rumor since Norway was added.

AND the really hot rumor is 3 new Countries in the next Decade!

That rumor seems way "out there",but when you consider there hasn't been a new Country in 30 years,that would only mean 3 new Countries over a 40 year period!

Animal Kingdom has extended to the fictional realm of Pandora. Hollywood Studios is world-building in an immersive Star Wars landscape.

This made me laugh a little... animal kingdom was intended to include mythological animals, and the vision shifted to include the environment and creatures of Pandora. Hollywood Studios is geared toward the movies and was the best fit for Star Wars. Epcot on th other hand is a place based on reality and progress. Because Wakanda is not a real nation, there’s no way Disney would ever put that country in the Showcase. They want to celebrate diversity in real cultures. That said, I would love for the African Outpost to get an upgrade-maybe even with a Black Panther attraction
