Any recommendations for things to do/see while we are in Epcot for a half day with a 4 year old and 20 month old? Thanks!

When I took my boys back in 2003 we didn't spend a lot of time in Epcot with them. They were 4 & 2½ at the time. They liked the Imagination Pavillion and in the United Kingdom they absolutely loved running through the hedge maze. Spaceship Earth was a real winner too.

Turtle Talk with Crush was a favorite and walking through the different exhibits there.

Watch the Chinese acrbats and the Japanese candy lady

my weirdo kids loved riding Maelstom and then watching the Norway Movie LOL! The also enjoyed sword fighting in the store. NOt sure if the CMs liked it LOL!

My 4 & 5 YO's loved to build the virtual robot while my 14MO watched us race them. (Imaginations)

The older ones also loved Soarin.

Um I'm sure there was more, but that is all I can rmember. I loaned my Passporter to a friend.

Our kids always like to do the Kidscot stations at each country and they cant ride Spaceship Earth enough.

Ds really enjoys Epcot. Here's a few attractions he loved on our last trip (3-1/2yrs)

Soarin' (The Land Pavilion) (40" height requirement)
Spaceship Earth (slow moving ride but he always wants to do the "Epcot" ride)
The Living Seas - Nemo ride and also Turtle Talk with Crush
Test Track (40" height requirement)
Innoventions has some fun interactive stuff for kids as well
DS also enjoyed both the Mexican Pavilion and the Norway boat rides.

In the World Showcase, each pavilion has a Kidcot station where kids can color on a mask and get a special paper "charm" to hang from it from each country.

There are also character greets through out the park - we saw Snow White, Aladdin, Belle & Beast when we were there. Winnie the Pooh can be found in the British pavilion. They also have a caravan of characters that makes an appearance on a double decker bus a few times a day (check the times guide for location and times) and there is also the character connection spot at Innovations West.

Check your times guides for different entertainment that is going on around the parks. For instance, in Japan there is a candy & origami artist, and the Taiko drummers (ds loved that!). In Morocco there is a band called "MoRoccan" that plays very upbeat Moroccan flavored "rock" music and a dancer that performs. The Chinese pavilion has acrobats that perform. The American Pavilion has the Voices of Liberty. The French Pavilion has a different performers as well - the living statues and an entertaining mime to name a few we've seen there. Anyway - you get the idea...

Hth!

When we took our almost 3 year old we didn't spend as much time at Epcot as we probably would have without her, but this is what she really enjoyed: Meeting characters (in the cool air conditioning with fairly short lines in one of the innoventions buildings), Turtle Talk with Crush and the "fishies." She napped in her stroller through at least half of the world showcase, but was bright eyed and bushy tailed for illuminations. And for some reason she wanted me to take photo of her near every post and pillar in the world showcase. I laugh at those pics now (thank goodness for the digitial camers, so I wasn't "wasting" film). Goofy kid.

DD2 and DD6 liked the Nemo ride, Turtle Talk with Crush, and The Living Seas in general. DD6 did not like Soarin'. Also, they both liked Journey into Imagination and some of the live shows in WS (there was an entertainer in Italy that they enjoyed). DD2 liked watching the water fountains in WS (simple pleasures).

If you enjoy walking in the WS, the Kidcot Funstops are good. It allows you to get a drink and look around a bit while your child sits and colors.
