I read something about a passport that you can buy at Epcot to get stamped in each world. I'm thinking that my children might enjoy that. Can anyone tell me where you get those and how much they cost?

Thanks!

Suzie

They are really fun, your kids will like them and shhhhh, don't tell them...they're sorta educational too! ;)

You can find them in most shops throughout Epcot and at World of Disney at DTD. I believe some resort gift shops carry them too. It's been a year or 2 since I purchased one ,I believe the price is between $10 and $12.

We did the Epcot Passport and it was great fun. The CM's in each country took the time to speak to our DD's and even to speak in their language. We got our passport kits at the gift shop rigth as you walk into the World Showcase. Remember to put on the button that comes with the pasport so they CM's will spot you right away. They have a stamp of each country and they will write a greeting to you in their native language. Our DD asked each one to write her name so she could show her friends at school and all were happy to take the time to teach her.

We found that the pasport made the world showcase alot more intresting to our girls and to ourselves.

When we were there in February, we did this with our 4 dd and it was great! They do cost about $10 each, but it helps make EPCOT a little more enjoyable for little ones.

One word of advice. Allow plenty of time to do this. If you start in Mexico (or on the other side in Canada) and work your way straight around, it will take you a good 4-5 hours to do it without feeling rushed. Don't make it into a "o.k., we've got this country, now let's run to the next one!" or you will miss a lot of wonderful things. They also make and decorate masks at these kidcot stations where you get the passports stamped. My girls liked that too.

I grew up doing World Showcase with the passports, it was literally the only way we were getting my younger sister around the Lagoon, and those passports are some of my favorite keepsakes from my trips. Also with the passports, and this use to be true but I haven't done oe in a while so it might not be anymore, but each country has a sheet of stickers to decorate it's page with in the passport. This was a great way to entertain me and my sister on the plane ride home and it was fun to look at the pics and remember the countries and the cool cast members we met and talked to. Talking to the cast members was one of the best things about them. I learned how to say hello in all the different languages one year. They're a great way to get kids to enjoy World Showcase and I highly recommand them!
