Where do you get the passport books at EPCOT. And, where in each country do you get the stamps?

Thanks - Just found out about this, and I am surprised as we have been to Disney about 6 times, and never heard of it. We are going back in a few weeks and think our daughter would get a kick out of it.

Thanks for your help,
Eric

You can only purchase them in the American Adventure currently. The stamps come with them. We found this out just last week!!

When we went in May we purchased them in the shop that is at the beginning of World Showcase. It's late and i can't think of the name of it right now. The passports do come with stamps with pictures, but in each country you can have it stamped and usually they will also write something in the country's launguage. They have Kidcot stations in each pavillion. They should be located on the park maps, but if not you can just ask a Cm in each country. My dd's were 8 and 6 when we did it last year and they loved it. Also the first country you go to, they can make a mask. Then at each country afterwards, they attach a paper charm from each country to it. It is fun for the kids.

Our last trip with kids was almost three years ago - we also purchased the passports at the first country - the Mexico pavilion. I wonder why they're not in each country now, like they were then?:confused3

My kids loved doing this - the passports, and also the masks/stamps the previous poster mentioned. In fact, when we told them about our upcoming trip, one of the first questions they asked was if they could get the passports and do the masks/stamps again! :goodvibes It's fun for them to seek out the Kidcot stop in each country, and also to meet the CM's from the different countries.

Enjoy!

I don't know why they aren't available in all countries but my daughter tried to purchase one last week in, I think, Japan and they told her that the passports were only available in the America.

that's not quite true, but it is true that you can't buy disney merchandise in either china or japan, but the passport is sold elsewhere, all over the world showcase and mouse gear, et al.

the definitive guide to kidcot covers all the details of the mask and passport, kidcot locations (with photos and downloadable cheat sheet) and quite a bit more about the world showcase and activities.

What's this? Is it on the website somewhere?
Thanks!! :)

I did this myself when my friend and I went in January. It was so much fun stopping at each station, talking to the people from each country....and yes, I even enjoyed putting my little stickers in my book! It's one of my favorite souviners from my trip!

By the way, this is the link you were looking for:

We bought our passport at the gift cart/shop outside of the Canada pavilion on Sept 12th. It was one of my favorite things we bought this trip. What a great way to remember your trip around the world showcase! I liked to make sure the CM's included our names in the messages they wrote. Nice personal touch!:thumbsup2

They have a passport at Animal Kingdom too...we found that out on our last day with no time to complete it. Oh well, next time.

yup, the definitive guide to the kids discovery club covers that one too (along with the kids discovery club stops)

We didn't buy passports, but the kids got masks at Canada then got the handles stamped in each country (along with the paper hangers). They also got their names written in Japanese and Arabic on the masks.

FYI, many of the Kidcot stops are in stores, so if you're wandering around the streets in a country and can't find the spot, go inside a store that looks kid-friendly.

Do you get them stamped ONLY at kidcot stations, or anywhere in that country? What type of messages do they write.

We saw the passports for sale in Norway, unfortunately we were headed out of the park. We'll definitely do it next time, DD had a blast at the kidcot stations and she'd get a kick out of the passports.

They are stamped only at the KidCot stations. The cast members are great! They would always my kids their names, and then most of them wrote something in their native language (the Japanese gal did a fantastic job with this!...we were so fascinated watching her form all those delicate symbols).
