Epcot or Hollywood Studios?

We are going to WDW in February and staying at Fort Wilderness in our new travel trailer. We want to visit the parks but we also want to enjoy the Fort so we've decided to do only 3 park days and we won't have hoppers. I know we will visit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom so now we have to choose between Epcot or Hollywood Studios for our third day. For reference, it will be my husband and I and our 11 year old daughter on this trip and we like rides and shows and are not as interested in character meets, dining, or shopping. We went to Universal twice last year, had express passes, and were able to ride tons of rides everyday. I know we won't get in as many rides at Disney and the last time we were at WDW, Epcot seemed a little stale and my kids didn't enjoy walking around the World Showcase all that much but Hollywood Studios didn't have a whole lot of attractions at the time and we were finished with the park after just a few hours. Based on that, I can't decide if we should go to the Studios to see the new Toy Story stuff or go to Epcot where nothing is really new but there is more to keep us occupied.

Which parks would you choose for us?

Congratulations on the travel trailer, enjoy the Fort.
I would do HS over Epcot, given a choice between the 2 my kids would pick HS for the rides and the shows. WS is ok, but they were kinda bored with over 1/2 of it

While I personally prefer Epcot, I think given everything you’ve said PLUS the fact that TSL is wonderful I’d go with HS.

Sounds like you would get more out of HS if you're not into the dining and just rides and shows. Even though I prefer Epcot to HS it sounds to me that HS would be a better fit for you and what you are looking to do on your 3rd park day.

HS in this case. It has more rides and with Toy Story Land, plenty to do. Plus, it's easier to navigate and more compact than Epcot is. Have fun!

We would prefer Epcot but sounds like your family would enjoy HS better...what about a second day at MK?

Hollywood Studios.

If you aren’t interested in the WS, Epcot is barely a half day park then.

We like epcot but right now it’s at the bottom of our list.

We just got back from a quick long weekend trip for MNSSHP, but we did end up going to HS each of the 3 days - at our kids' request (age 7 & 9)! We had a couple hours at Epcot one morning. We loved HS this trip and were annoyed it was only open until 8! Definitely plenty to do and we had a great time. (I highly recommend TSL at night too, it was super fun with all the lights!)

I can't imagine only doing three of the parks!
But if I had to, I would choose HS, but I love Star Tours, and Tower, and Rock and Roller Coaster...

I don't enjoy HS any longer and would choose EPCOT without hesitation for my family. However, from what you said, I'd agree with the other posters and tell you that HS will more than likely fit your family much better!

While I prefer Epcot, it seems like for what you’re describing, you’d enjoy DHS more
