EPCOT monorail to MGM

If I got off the monorail at EPCOT, could I possibly walk to MGM?

Is it possible? Sure! But probably not something I'd choose to do.

You'd have to walk THROUGH Epcot (you'd need park admission to do this), then you could catch a boat or walk to MGM.

Is there a reason you'd want to to get to MGM this way?

You can do it but many say it's a long walk. You can take the bus but if you want to relax and enjoy the view, you can take a boat from the "international gate" at Epcot to MGM Studios.

Well, technically, yes. BUT it's a L-O-N-G walk that will take you from the front entrance of Epcot all the way to the back (exit in WS), then walk over to the boardwalk and at that point you can either take a boat to MGM, or continue walking - it's about a 10 min. (3/4 mile) walk from behind BW to the entrance of MGM. Plus you'll need to enter Epcot and of course, it would have to be during the hours that Epcot is open.

Is there a reason why you want to get to MGM this way, vs. an easier way?

We are staying at the Poly, and I thought that if I walk to the TTC, I could take the monorail to EPCOT, and then maybe walk to MGM. Does anyone know the best way to MGM from Poly?

There's a direct bus from the Polynesian right to MGM.
