Epcot midnight NYE fireworks - any reserved spots?

Last year, the kids were tired so we went back to the hotel and went back to Epcot around 10:30. It would be nice to be able to go back to a reserved spot. Anything available on NYE? eg. dessert party, FP+, dining packages.

They've had a dessert party in the past, but it was indoors with no fireworks view. You never know what Disney will plan in the future. But to be on the safe side, I would try and get an ADR at a restaurant on the lagoon where you can sit outside and view the fireworks.

Way back in 2012 I did a dinner at Le Cellier with reserved standing area in the terrace above Canada. You could check to see if anyone is doing something like that. Be warned that bag check lines are insane on NYE.

They don't do any parties or reserved viewing to allow more guests a view by the lagoon, they even take the Christmas tree down to open more space.
Now the actual nye fireworks, you don't need to be at the fence you can watch from afar

Based on my experience of NYE 1999 into 2000 at Epcot,, keep in mind where you end up....being near an exit is preferable to being in the middle of an intense crowd to leave all at the same time.

In 2017 on the 31st we just stood where we happened to be 5 minutes before the start of the show (in between Canada and the next Outpost kiosk) and just looked upward! It was amazing and I don't think there really is a bad view as long as you can see open sky?

Went last year. What we saw was a bunch of cell phones videotaping the show. We won't go back. I watched the fireworks on the cell phone from the person standing in front of me. We were about eight back from the front. And we got those seats about 1.5 hours before the show.
I believe the only reserved spot was dinner at the restaurant at Mexico that is on the water - La Hacienda?

Exactly.
You just need a clear view to the sky which is not hard to find. We've never tried to get a spot more than 15 min before
