Epcot, MGM, and AK reception locations

My fiance and I are planning a small-ish wedding (30-35 guests) for late October 2005. We want to have our ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion and we'd really like to have our reception in a themepark (any themepark but MK...waaay too expensive, lol). The most obvious choice seems to be the Living Seas VIP room in Epcot, but I was just wondering if anyone on the board had (or is planning) a similar-sized reception at any other theme park locations. We're doing our Site Inspection on Oct 23, so I was wondering if there were any other theme park locations (other than Living Seas) that I should definitely request to see. I'm so excited!!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Have you considered something at the Great Movie Ride? I know another DISer Janet2K is planning a Vow Renewal there - and it's definately unqiue. Usually you eat in the Wild West Scene and have cake and dessert in the Oz scene.

That would definately be unique and probably perfect for your size group.

You might also consider an Illuminations Reception or a lunch reception at Bistro de Paris. There is also the Wonder's Lounge which would be a very fun colorful location.

The Great Movie Ride reception sounds incredible! I thought my group might have been too small for it, so I'm excited to hear that you think it would work. Thanks for the info!! Janet2K, if you're reading this, I'd love to hear more about your plans there!

I've seen pics of the WoL lounge and it doesn't really do anything for us, but we are planning do have an Illuminations Dessert Party the night before our wedding.

Anyone else?

When we did our planning trip we were shown the American Adventure. It didn't have the feel we were looking for but it was very pretty.
