We will only have 1 day at Epcot. Where should we go for lunch and dinner? It will be early Feb 2018.

What kind of food do you like? Do you want TS or QS restaurants or one of each?

Our favorites include:

TS - Spice Road Table, Via Napoli, Monsieur Paul
QS - Tangierine Cafe, Les Halles des France

We are not picking eaters. Although my DH prefers meat. I’d prefer to have better quality in the food. Themes are nice but I want my food to taste really good if I’m paying Disney prices for it.

I’d like QS for lunch and sit down for dinner.

Anywhere in WS is good, I'm not crazy about the inside Mexico restaurant (I get the two confused) but the atmosphere it good. The TS in China is your typical Chinese food but it's not bad. I enjoy all the QS in WS. I'm not a fan of the TS in Germany, I don't like shared tables. Our favorite is probably Morocco, both the inside TS and Spice Road Tables.

I just had dinner at Tutto Italia last week and it was great. I had chicken parm, which is not listed in the menu but is on a table card, and it would have easily fed 2. Meal starts with olives and bread

I am also a Chefs de France fan. The prix fixe meal is a great deal! I actually just booked a CP package there for 12/11.

Had a great meal at Coral Reef a year or so ago. Steak was prepared exactly as requested, and they were more than happy to swap sides for me.

Was excited to eat at San Angel in June, but the meal was not very good. Meat was very tough. Also not a fan of the pizza at Via Napoli; too much crust, and was not cooked completely in the center.

I recommend Sunshine Seasons (in Soarin building) for lunch and Teppan Edo for dinner (Japanese steakhouse) they make filet mignon stir fry - it's delicious!

Also, you could go to via Napoli for lunch - fantastic pizza but technically it is a sit down restaurant.

Someone is going to recommend every restaurant in Epcot, but I'll give you my thoughts on the TS places we've been to and a couple of QS options.

Teppan Edo - typical hibachi place but we like the food. I usually get the steak and shrimp. Not a huge fan of the beef rice though.
Chefs de France - probably the best food quality/selection of the Epcot restaurants we've been to. Only real drawback is that it can get really loud inside, especially at peak dinner time.
San Angel Inn - pretty decent food but a limited menu. Really dark inside and the tables are jammed together.
Via Napoli - decent but not great pizza. The crust should be charred but at least one of the pizzas we had it was burned. We are going back this next trip but I'm going to try the pasta this time. Also super loud inside - so loud we asked to sit outside, which we'll do again and was very nice.
Rose & Crown - ate dinner here and watched Illuminations. Wasn't terribly impressed with the food and in no hurry to return.

You also can walk over to the Boardwalk area from the back gate at Epcot and there are a number of additional options, including ESPN Club, Flying Fish and Trattoria al Forno, and Yacht/Beach Club options would be Yachtsman, Cape May (wouldn't go here, not good), and Ale & Compass (opening this month). And you could walk over to Swan & Dolphin for several more choices.

For QS, I would absolutely avoid the Mexican place. Liberty Inn isn't bad, and we like the bratwurst from Sommerfest. However, if you are paying out of pocket I would either go to Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, Crew's Cup Lounge at Yacht Club, or Beaches & Cream at Beach Club. All three have better food than any of the QS places at Epcot and are only slightly more expensive. Tutto Gusto is relaxing and has decent small plates and a good drink selection. Crew's Cup has pretty good food in a relaxing atmosphere. You'll need reservations for Beaches & Cream but pretty good hamburgers (no reservations for Tutto Gusto or Crew's Cup).

After looking at all the menus, I picked Marrakesh for dinner. I haven’t seen any comments on this place. Any feedback on quality of food and service?

We love it but a lot of people don't. You have to like slightly exotic food but it's pretty good, we have never had bad service there.

We love trying exotic food! Their menu looks amazing and normal to me.

Funny you say that, it is normal for me too but I lived in the Middle East for a number of years and we love to try new things anyway. A lot of people are a little intimidated by the exotic feel of it tough. It's one of the reasons they had to change the menu at Skippers Canteen a little as well.

It's been a while but we really enjoyed Marrakesh. To be honest, it was initially booked as a bit of a last resort and we ended up really loving it. The interior is beautiful and the food was quite tasty. Not sure if kids in your party but I heard they are now offering henna "tattoos" for kids in addition to the belly dancer entertainment.

Just ate at Marrakesh with my husband last month and it was excellent! I've been wanting to eat here for years, but everyone else I'd travelled with had been put off by the menu. I convinced my husband to eat here as part of and Eat to the Beat Package. The food was probably some of the best we had during our trip, the service was good, the interior of the restaurant is gorgeous, there was live music playing and a belly dancer. Very charming place, and we walked away feeling like we had been a guest at a sultan's palace. We each ordered one of their feast type meals that came with appetizers, entree, and desert and everything was great, its been awhile since I've ordered a sampler type meal from a restaurant and found everything was good.

Our biggest mistake we made was going to this restaurant during Food and Wine, because I felt ashamed at having not being able to finish my plate. We had been munching at the Food and Wine booths all day, and now that I think about it, I wish we hadn't because I think I actually enjoyed the food at this place more than most of the booths we had visited! Despite all this, my husband miraculously finished everything they brought out to him, he thought it was so good. We'll definately be back!

Rose & Crown Pub is our jam at Epcot. Be sure and order the Stickey Toffee Pudding for dessert - it won't disappoint!

This is an awesome review!! I booked our reservations a few days ago for Feb 5. This place must be popular because I checked today and the dinner slots are sold out! Can’t wait to try it!

Omg! My DD will love that. She will be almost 9 when we go. She loves tattoos.
