Traveling with kids ages 5, 8, and 10 in October during F&W. Any advice on favorite activities for kids around World Showcase? I've read a bit here and there about the Kidcot stops, Ratatouille scavenger hunt, and something about passports. What of these type of activities have your kids enjoyed and would you recommend? Are there others? We have never tried any of these.

We visit World Showcase every trip, but only briefly to run the maze in UK, see the trains, buy caramels, and usually eat with an ADR. My kids generally make this miserable for us and whine about all the walking. We want to make it more enjoyable this time, especially since there are food stalls and drinks my husband and I would enjoy sampling! We are going on a Wednesday, knocking out major rides up front first, then planning to head to WS right at 11:00 and staying through mid-late afternoon.

My 7- and 4-year-olds like the Kidcot stops and passports, but their favorite is the playground that's set up between Future World and World Showcase. (At least it's there during Flower & Garden, which we generally prefer over Food & Wine, but I did read something about a playground coming to this year's F&W...)

It works for us because my husband or I will make a run to one of the nearby booths and bring something back to share. We'll do this for an hour or so before pulling the kids away to make a lap around World Showcase.

I didn't know about the playground - that's a great idea, thanks! Perhaps having a couple of cocktails while they play is just what we (I) need to make the lap around World Showcase more tolerable.

Sounds perfect to me. :goodvibes I hope it works out for y'all, and enjoy your trip!

When our kids were younger they loved the kidcot activities.

The playground for Flower and Garden was very small, but looked fun. They do not have that (at least not the last 2 years) during Food And Wine. It is kiosks instead in that space.

My DD has loved doing the Ratatouille scavenger hunt the past 2 times we've been at Epcot. (Ages 6 and 9 during those visits.) Finding them is a bit of a challenge but not too challenging. I highly recommend this activity!

Agent P's World Showcase Adventure is much fun for kids AND adults(there are some inside jokes).

Just go to agentpwsa.com on your phone when you arrive in World Showcase.:)
