We have a large collection of masks- hoping the kidcot stations have been updated. Anyone know? My kids loved the old old ones of crafts in each country.

:cool1: We just returned from Disney and they were still using masks at the kidcot stations at Epcot. Have fun

We just got back day before yesterday. While masks were still available in some areas, my dd's got, I'm not sure what to call them, but they were rectangles of about 6 by 8 inches that were on a string to hang around their necks. There were holes at the bottom to hold the hang tags from each country or exhibit. They got them at the Living Seas Kidcot Station. They were much easier to deal with than the masks.

Another thing that works well for some kids is the World Showcase Passport. It comes with stickers and they get stamped at each country. My 10 yo son loved it

:cool1:

Did they use the same shapes that they attached to the masks? I also liked the masks, but was hoping for a new craft. :Pinkbounc

I only thought the countires had kidcots they are in living seas too??
anywhere else in future world? great info!

My dd's visited kidcots at test track, mission space, and at least one other place in Future World, although I can't remember where right now. I remember the "shape" from test track was a traffic cone.

My niece had a blast making the masks, its fun and free!! :cool1:

i'll second that! my friend and i got those once several years ago, i was hardly a kid (20 at the time i think) but they were fun to do becos they're a great way to start a conversation with a foreign CM and there's a little spot at the bottom of each page where the CM will write a little message, usually teaching the kids how to say something in their language and an interesting fact about the country. i worked at epcot when i was on the college program and did the american adventure kidcot once, i wrote things like "welcome to america, home of mickey mouse and walt disney!" it'd be a neat thing to do more than once becos depending on what CM you get you'll get a different message, they don't all write the same thing.
