Epcot International Festival of the Arts- UPDATED Times Guide on Post 61

As someone who can't afford the packages I'm happy that they are leaving the first two shows wurhout a package. Also all the classes look cool.

What are the details on these packages? Do they just guarantee seating for the show, like CP packages?

The classes do look neat!

I agree with you about open seating for the earlier performances. To be honest, I'm not sure how necessary the package will be. I'm worried the weekends will be crowded, but I just don't have a sense of the popularity yet. That said, I'd really like to see Ashley Brown, and I don't think I could convince the rest of my family to wait in a long line, if the lines are long. We'd be eating in World Showcase anyway (had a reservation for Italy) and we tend to order appetizers, etc. such that we figure $50 per person. At $61 for the package, the price difference wont be that dramatic for us. For me, it's worth that premium to guarantee a seat.

if you see the 8pm show would you be able to stay there and see illuminations at 9pm? how would the view be?

I just called Dining and they were not able to find any dining packages. I can't find it online either. Does anyone have info about booking the dining packages?

Okay the Figment's Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt sounds fun, kind of like the Remy one during Food & Wine. Has anyone heard more about this? The Festival page, which I'm happy they put up, has very little info. I'm hoping they do a pin like they did with Remy's.

In case anyone needs it, quick link to the festival page, https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/epcot-international-festival-of-the-arts/
thanks for the link. Here's what's on there in case you can't open it

Gaaah I can't decide. We have Via Napoli reservations for Mon Feb 20th. I need to talk to the ILs. DH doesn't enjoy Biergarten and we already have reservations for Akershus. My kids would enjoy Rose & Crown, but I'm not sure about my nephews. Just messaged my SIL. Might have to actually call her later. My gut says book it (esp bc DH is GF and VN is going to suck for him, but I know they all wanted to get the pizza at VN).

I have not found any info on if the dining plan can be used for the meal package and if so is it one or two credits. I just found this the other day and our trip is for two weeks starting the end of Jan so I was hoping to change some adrs up to make this happen.

Called and booked one of the workshops, the Mixed Media Art on the first day. Looks like they're doing these at the Odyssey, which makes sense.

That was the one I was interested in but it doesn't really fit into our schedule. I'm trying to decide if I want to switch around some things to make it work

Do you think there will be food booths around like other festivals? I haven't really read anything confirming it. I am thinking of adding a park day on to our trip, we leave Friday 1/20 but not until late afternoon. Trying to decide if it would be worth it.

Pretty sure there will be, the Disney Parks Blog posted a preview of various food and they're putting just as much of an emphasis on food as other arts.

I wish the dining package could be booked online. I'd rather see a list of available options than wait on hold and then have to wait while they check one at a time.

@rteetz was at Epcot a couple of days ago and he reported seeing the food booths up but no menu listted
