I am using ADRs as one way to get a break from the peak heat of the day for an August trip.

We have the DDP and I am contemplating a 3:30pm visit to Teppan Edo or a 5pm ADR to Cape May clam bake.

I like the idea of 3:30pm since it's peak heat time, but the clam bake sounds like something we might enjoy as a nice, summer meal.

Please share your opinions to help me decide! (It's just me and my 6 yo DD.)

TIA

We like early dinners/late lunches in the heat. Around 2-3 in the afternoon we're all ready for a nice, long rest in the air conditioning. The clam bake does sound nice and summery, but for me I wouldn't want the walk over to the Beach Club or having to serve myself - stopping at a conveniently located restaurant in the park and being waited on makes for a more effective break IMO.
