Epcot FP Tiers After Frozen Ride and Soarin Are Open

Dang...no love for Mission Space. LOL!
MS is one of our favorites. I don't know why more people don't like that ride.
Oh well....easier for us. It will most certainly move back to tier 2 once another tier 1 ride opens/reopens.
I love it too.

Kind of a side question, will Anna and Elsa leave MK when the Epcot one opens?

We will have two days in Epcot, so no matter what the Tiers end up being, one day will be Frozen ride and one day will be A&E meet (at least for me and the toddlers). Guess we will have to rope drop Soarin'-even though I know that will be bad, we will use Rider Swap so at least the toddlers aren't waiting in a long line
No official announcement that I've seen but yes, the word is they will move from MK to Epcot and other Princesses will move back in to Princess Fairy Tale Hall.

Okay, this makes sense. I guess the capacity issue is handled by multiple A&Es.

Most guests would surprised how that works. It is done in such a way that it goes unnoticed at the attraction.

And, if you can do 2, you can do 4... or 6.

The point is, if I you can handle the PEAKS of demand, the line will never stagnate to the point of growing to an hour (or more) as it does now.

I wonder if they have given any thought to the idea of having more tier 1 choices (leave Mission Space, add Spaceship Earth), but be able to choose 2. Still limits the 60 day people from getting Test Track, Soarin', and Frozen...but gives you a more flexible schedule with actual usable FP+ choices.

Really?? Do you think that is because of Fast Pass Plus or just because it was that crowded. Spaceship Earth should never really have than long of a line it is continously loading.

It was during F&W but not on a weekend nor during Columbus Day. Oct., with those exceptions, is less crowded than early March which used to be 'our time' due to Spring break. We had to make a FP+ choice after getting TT and we were glad to have one for SE.

I love Mission Space too! Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Mission Space in tier 2? I also kind of agree with a PP that if Soarin can gain a considerable amount of capacity and you know that Frozen will no matter if it's in a fast pass line or not, then they may eliminate tearing all together and that would be great.

MS was moved to tier 1 when Soarin closed

There have been rumors that Mexico and Norway would open at 9 with future world.

Norway with the A&E M&G would pretty much half to open up early - and they may as well have the ride start up early too. It's not like these items have anything to do with Norway the country any more.

As for Mexico, I don't see it. It occurs to me they could build a wall over at Mexico. Maybe this is the wall I keep hearing about on the TV.

Opening Grand Fiesta early makes sense as an overflow for the folks frustrated by the long lines at the Attraction Formerly Known as Maelstrom.

(And to be honest, a breakfast at San Angel Inn sounds like an enticing option - it'll never happen.)

Guess that would mean about 27 uninterrupted rides on Gran Fiesta Tour:thumbsup2

That Donald Duck is one hard-to-find caballero!!

Huevos Rancheros!

Tortilla Scrambler!

Ole'!!

So really, does it look like we'll get to choose either TT, Soarin, A&E, or the Frozen ride from tier 1 and then two from everything else left over?

Nobody knows.

SE went from being a walk on late afternoon/evening to constantly having a line for FP+ but that was the whole point of FP+ it was a "ride re-distribution" system.

At the moment we don't have any EPCOT days planned for this Easter. I'm doing more days at MK because I don't want to waste a FP+ on Tier 2's at EPCOT. We'll go over in the evening to walk around WS and have diner and check out F&G. I am probably not the only one, I'm sure Disney is preparing for it by adding more hours at MK, yea right, price increase and less hours at MK. :crowded:
