Next month, my wife and I are planning a kid-free trip to Orlando :yay:. We have a house in Champions Gate so we're staying off-property; however we are going to spend one of our days in Epcot with some friends. We have 6 kids and have been to WDW many, many times, but only once with just the two of us (sans kiddos) and spent that day enjoying Epcot. It's one of our favorite parks, especially without kids. 4 of our 6 friends going with us that day have never been to Epcot so we are wanting to eat (and drink) our way around the world while still hitting up the main attractions the park has to offer. I'll preface this by saying none of us are heavy drinkers, but we do enjoy an adult beverage every now and again.

We know the attractions, shows, etc. we want to see while we're there, but we aren't make any ADR's because we really want to spend most of the day exploring World Showcase and sampling the food and drink of the various lands. My question for the board is what are the MUST eat/drink places in World Showcase, especially without ADR's? We're going to spend the entire day in the park and plan to catch Illuminations that night since only a few of us have ever seen it.

Go to the Kringela Bakeri og Kafe in Norway, get Lefse. Everyone raves about the schoolbread, but lefse is the unsung hero.

I think it really varies on a couple of things. Unfortunately there isn't any festival going on with a plethora of food booths so it would likely depend on what type of cuisines you like.

Tutto Gusto is a great hidden gem that has some nice wines and small plates great for splitting between two. Tangerine Cafe is probably my favorite quick service in epcot and has a few plates that come with ALOT of food but Im not high on their beverage selections. The fish and chips from Yorkshire in the UK is very good and plenty of good beer selections from the Rose and Crown. France has Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie with some good sandwiches and pastries and L'Artisan de Glaces has some great sweets. Not a big fan of anything to eat or drink in Mexico or Norway, America has a nice craft beer booth and China has the Tipsy Ducks in Love (my favorite alcoholic beverage anywhere on property).

The cave bar in Mexico is always fun and good for margaritas and chips and salsa. The Rose and Crown is also our go to for hanging out during the day with a full bar.

Spice Road Table is a great place to grab a few tapas and cocktails, you can usually grab an ADR for a short time in the future or even walk up.

Rose & Crown Pub - the Washington Apple is one of my favorite drinks in the World Showcase as well as limoncello in the Italian pavillion.

We just returned from an adult trip. Spent a lot of time in Epcot.
Canada- la fin du Monde beer. Best value at $10.75 for a 9.5% beer
UK- fish and chips were amazing, loved the Innis and Gunn beer at the beer stand. The pup inside is also very cool but it gets crowded quickly. (We got there at 11:30 when it opened)
France- pastries, gelato, frozen martinis
Morocco- we love to split a platter at Tangierine Cafe.
Italy- wine bar
Germany- grapefruit beer or the dunkel (dark beer), Carmels
China- tipsy ducks in love
Norway- school bread or another pastry
Mexico- Margaritas inside the pavilion
