For our very first F&W, we arrived at MCO early on Saturday, checked into BCV, and went straight to EPCOT around 1pm. We were so disappointed by the crowds and thought to ourselves "this is going to be a horrible trip if every day is like this." Sure enough though crowds cleared out by mid afternoon on Sunday. We just have learned to avoid the food booths from late Friday to midday Sunday.

Already heard that crowds were thinner today! GOOD NEWS! Hope that you are enjoying your BCV stay!

It was/is hot. I live in South Fla so I'm kinda used to it. Friday nite it stormed badly, but I was inside for the burger party. Like others have said, huge crowds on opening day that I have never encountered. Let's hope the weekdays are better.

THANKS for the weather update. Figured that it was warm at WDW as the northeast is unusually warm also for this time of year. Hope thinner crowds for weekdays; thats' when we'll be going!

Has anyone found out how the 8 credits for the Discover Sampler may be used? We know Dom Perignon is out, but how about the other champagnes? Is there a maximum dollar limit to items that are eligible?

Hi all. Had a great day at the Festival!

Got the Sampler Package. Here are the exclusions printed on the credential: "Excludes beers larger than 6 ounces, all tasting flights, all Champagnes, and the Artist Palette at cheese and wine." Used it for a couple of >$10 cocktails. The entitlements are valid through Nov. 16th, except for the Eat to the Beat FastPass, which is for the day purchased only.

I'm thinking that the heat will not help me at least in regards to enjoying some adult beverages......I hope everyone stays hydrated! I will plan on having a bottled water at all times. It's still pretty warm here in StL too so I expect Florida will be warm as well. I'm getting so excited. Doing laundry now and will pack tomorrow. We leave am on Tuesday and should arrive my noonish. Planning on F&W events Tuesday and WEdnesday all day then again the following Monday. We will be there for a few hours on Sunday but it'll be lunch at Via Napoli and one culinary demo. Definitely avoiding that whole area on friday and saturday!

I have a question for those that have picked up the Sampler Package credentials. I'm sure you have to show ID to pick everything up but would everyone in my party that I am getting them for need to be there? I get in early so I was hoping to pick them all up at one time.

We will be attending the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot this year and have a 5 day park hopper package will be ending each night at Epcot. How difficult is it to walk in and dine at the German Biergarten Buffet or Restaurant Marrakesh during F & W? How long was your wait? Is it so busy that you would recommend reservations?

We want to see what's available at the Kiosks and experience those unique things but we are also open to dining at one or two of the "sit-down" restaurants.

I don't know about Germany but Morocco always seems to have availability. The walkways are wide around Morocco/Japan you just need to get past the bottle neck near the entrance to World Showcase, I would suggest heading toward Canada when you arrive/want to eat after you get past Ireland you (IMO) are good to go to get to Morocco or Germany (Walking wise)

Has anyone been able to convert a QS DDP credit into 3 snack credits at a F&W kiosk? I see where CMs have said it's possible, but it would be helpful to have confirmation from someone who's been there this weekend. Thanks to anyone with the 4-1-1!

I like having them all in one place, but what I really find helpful is that you can "rate" and/or "like" each entry. Also, clicking on the picture shows a larger version and allows you to add comments. Once folks start doing that, this will really be helpful in determining those items not to be missed.

I have not heard one case where anyone was able to convert a QS to 3 Snacks at any of the F&W booths. I would almost bet a Canadian Cheddar Soup that it is impossible to do.

Quick question for those who have been already... Are the Festival Center and Future World kiosks opening along with Future World (i.e. 9am)? Or, are they delayed to the World Showcase opening time?
