EPCOT Disney Rewards Visa Meet & Greet Questions

We've never tried to use this Visa perk. When we have seen the line, it was LONG....and that was in September when the crowds were light overall.

1. Where is this located? So much has changed since our last trip.
2. How long does the line usually take (we're going the week before Labor Day).
3.How many characters do they usually have? Do the characters vary or are they always the same.
4. Was it worth it?

I believe it is in the same place it has always been. They closed the rest of that building but that section is still open is my understanding though you may want to verify it. When we have gone it has been in January and there was never a line so I can't help you with the wait. The characters do rotate, I have pictures of us with Minnie, pluto, mickey, and goofy. There are usually 2 characters at a time. I think it's worth it, those pics are some of my favorites.

1. innoventions west (although innoventions west was supposed to close for a refurb recently so i'm not sure if its still there)
2. a couple years ago they expanded the hours from 1pm-4pm to 1pm-7pm so now the lines are not all that long no matter what time you go. i went right at 1pm last month and waited less than 10 minutes.
3. typically 2 but sometimes 3. its typically one of these combos... mickey/pluto, mickey/goofy, minnie/pluto, minnie/goofy. some have had a combo of mickey/minnie/pluto or mickey/minnie/goofy but that seems to be pretty rare. i've done it 10 times so far and i have not had a combo of 3 as of yet.
4. yes its definitely worth it in my opinion. you get to meet at least 2 characters and you get a free 5x7. why not take advantage?

We were just there a few weeks ago, mid-afternoon on a weekday, crowd level 4-5. It is in the same place. Only one family in front of us in line, we had Mickey and Goofy this time. Last trip it was Minnie and Pluto.

I think it is definitely worth it to take a few moments and get the free photo. We have collected quite a little series of pics through the years, which we have displayed. Neat to see how the kids have grown, how DW has stayed as beautiful as ever, and how I have had fat trips and slim trips.

I don't recall ever waiting more than 5 minutes to meet the characters.

The longest we waited was 10 to 15 minutes. We had Minnie and Pluto a couple of times and Mickey and Goofy a couple. You can get a free pic with yo u r card and another with the rewards card. Only one family is let in at a time, so you are not rushed and can play and take your time with the characters. One of my favorite pics is where my husband is dancing with Goofy. Definitely worth it!

How does it work to get 2 free pictures (one with credit card and one with rewards card)? Do you simply present both cards when you choose/pick-up your photos?

You have to show your cards when you check in, before they take the picture. After the photopass photographer is finished, they give you a voucher for the print. You take the voucher to the camera shop (it says where to go on the voucher) and they will print a 5 x7 for you. It says on the voucher that you have to redeem the voucher on the same day that the picture was taken. We forgot about it and redeemed it a day or two later without a problem.
