Epcot,Disney-MGM Studios And The Crescent Lake Resorts

When were Crescent Lake and the Crescent Lake resorts built in relation to the openings of Epcot in 1982 and Disney-MGM Studios in 1989?Thanks.

The Swan opened in Fall 1989, Dolphin opened in summer 1990, Yacht & Beach Club opened in Fall 1990, Boardwalk opened in 1996.

Crescent Lake and Lake Hollywood (the canal that runs to Disney/MGM) were constructed at the same time as Disney/MGM Studios. I believe construction started in 1987, the Studios opened in April 1989.

I can still remember being at the Disney Studios and seeing the 2 dolphins and the 2 swans sitting on the ground while those 2 properties were being built and after they opened I remember taking a tram from EPCOT to the resorts. Man that was so many years ago...

Hi, I can remember holding my 2 year old son on my lap and watching the crane PUT THE SWAN ontop of the hotel, I think I viewed this from the monorail to Epcot.Well, that 2 year old turns 18 next month! But whenever I see the Swan that is what I remember! Those years go by SO FAST, but I am glad to have my WDW memories! Joan
