Epcot Dilemma

so today was my FP day. I’m relatively happy with my selections. I was able to pull the following for Epcot, but I’m not happy with it.

60+1 EP LL at 9:00, TT at 10:30 and Figment at 11:30. We had planned to RD Soarin, then possibly hit FEA, but with the limited availability of the TT FP my plan is messed up. What would you suggest? TT is a must for my kids. I’m worried about back tracking and just trying to use FP so I can refresh for more.

Incase you’re wondering, everything else went pretty much as I hoped!

60+2 HS TSM 9:25, RnR 10:25, Star Tours 11:25. Will RD ToT. No FP before 6:00pm.

60+3 Down Day

60+4 MK SDMT 9:10, SM 10:10, BTM at 11:10. We have a PPO at BOG at 0800. Hoping to snag SDMT before RD crowd, then hit PP at RD.

60+5 AK FOP 9:30, EE 10:30, Dino 11:30. Thinking of RD KS? Or would you do Navi?

60+6 HS RnR 9:05, SDD 10:20, ToT 11:20. Thinking of RD TSMM this day. Or possibly AS for my kids. Will then hop to MK and hopefully be able to score some of the Mountains.

If your Test Track FP begins at 10:30, you have until 11:45 to get on. I think you should totally be able to rope drop Soarin and hit FEA in that time frame. Just skip LL, you should be able to ride that later without much problem.

I think you should be fine. If you RD Soarin, then hit LwtL with your FP, and then head to FEA you should be ok, I'd think, to make it to TT by 11:45, even if there's a bit of a wait for FEA. I mean, presumably you should be done in the Land pavilion by 9:45, giving you two hours for FEA and travel time. Then you'll be back in Future World to do Figment and Nemo, etc, if you want after TT. You'll just have to make sure you're in the park and at the ropes to head to Soarin a bit before 9.

Good call to get a TT fp instead of the other two rides in that tier. TT breaks down constantly, so your fp will guarantee you can ride it later in the day if it's down during your timeslot.

Just my opinion, but you definitely don't need a fp for LL at 9:00! It will be a walk on at that time.

Is there a reason you didn't go for a Spaceship earth fp? I would swap that fp out for LL if you're able. Spaceship earth has had really long waits lately. And save the SE fp for later in the day (12:30, after you figment fp). That way you can rope drop Soarin', head straight for FEA and then hit TT right after.

I would change your LL that is one of the easiest FP to get. YouTube touring plans they have an EPCOT where they did the 3 big rids ( TT was down) and they found any order you did the first 2 rides in the wait was almost the same but one you did less walking. I would not wast the first hour on LL that is a nice ride but takes a good 10 minutes.

I wouldn't change anything. Here's what I would do with what you've got:

Rope drop FEA then head to Soarin'. You should still be able to use the LL FP+ after Soarin' and then head to TT. As soon as you tap in for TT, start trying to change the Figment to something earlier. Even if you miss the LL window, the wait time for it shouldn't be that long, and you could still ride and then get to TT in plenty of time.

OR, you could rope drop Soarin', tap into the LL FP+ when you get off, but don't use it. Head to FEA and then back to TT. This scenario means you make time later for LL, but you may need some time in the A/C at some point and can do it then.

Of course, you still have 60 days to play around with what you have and try to make the TT a little more efficient, but I wouldn't sweat it if I couldn't move it.

I agree with this. I would RD FEA, then head to Soarin' and go from there.

I would RD FEA and then head to Soarin as well. The line for Soarin should be relatively short by the time you get there. Soarin is also the easiest of the 3 headliner attractions to pick up as a 4th FP.

Agree - LL at 9am is not what I would choose. I would change it to SE or Mission Space or even Nemo if possible. I would go straight to FEA, then backtrack to my 9am FP, hit Soarin' then TT before 11:45am.

For your other days:

For AK, I would rope drop KS then head to Navi then your FOP FP+. For your second HS day, I would definitely RD TSMM then walk over to AS...it has low waits all day.

Also in agreement, I would RD FEA, then head to Soarin. You *should* still have time to use the 9 AM LL FP before 10 (you really have unofficially until 10:15) but I agree with others, you really won't need that LL FP at that time. I'd either move it later, or use it for a different attraction.

MS isn’t a fav of my kids, and we planned lunch at Sunshine Seasons, so hopefully LWTL won’t have too long of a wait later in the day.

Unless you were trying to modify TT, Soarin would not show as an available option as you already would have a tier 1 FP. It would be very unusual if there were none left at this point as they are typically readily available at 30 days out as well.

If you can't make it to Soarin after FEA, I would not sweat it. Getting a Soarin FP as your 4th FP is relatively easy as someone mentioned previously. Hitting FEA, using the MS FP followed by TT FP is a pretty sound plan to start your day.

This thread has been a help. On my thread when I mentioned my TT FP....and gave my plan, I was told to go to Soarin after I did RD on FEA. I was trying not to backtrack, but considered doing it, till I looked at my FPs again. I have:

Test Track 9:40-10:40
Living with the Land 10:40-11:40 (I purposely picked this one because I planned to come to Soarin' AFTER my TT FP and rope drop it. I was told by the time I rope drop FEA, meet Anna & Elsa, then do my TT FP, I could be at a 45 minute wait by then)
Figment 11:40-12:40

I picked the last two simply because I was trying to keep everything in a central area. I was going to start the refresh as soon as I tapped in to TT. My objective is to get the Mickey Character greet. It's a tier 1 so I've got to use all my FPs first. So I set them up, the last two anyway to be in the same area of the park. If my son and I decide we don't want to do the line, Soarin' is pretty easy to get that 4th FP and beyond?
