Epcot dessert party?

Whenever we go to Epcot I always see what looks to be a party on a lower part near the water. It looks like its an Illuminations viewing area with tables set up with food. Is this strictly for people that have booked a special occasion or are there dessert parties anyone can sign up for like the Wishes one?

Yes, private events or Grand Gatherings only. There is no Epcot dessert party open for booking by the general public, as there is at MK.

you can also book a private affair through Disney catering and conventions. We have had 2, one as part of our wedding(booked through DFTW) and one for our anniversary (booked through catering) there are fees for each area and food and bev minimums.
