Epcot Day and Beaches and Cream

Hello, everyone! We will be leaving for Disney early next week and we just picked up a reservation for Beaches and Cream (12 PM). This will be during our Epcot day and we already have Via Napoli booked for 4 PM. Is Beaches and Cream worth leaving Epcot and walking over for? Epcot will be having their Food and Wine Festival while we are there and a big reason we are doing Epcot.

I see the reviews for B&C is very good but not sure if it will be worth it with Food and Wine going on.

Opinions? TIA!

I would not want to load up at B&C at noon and then have Via Napoli at 4. Maybe if you are just going for ice cream.

It just depends if you want gigantic ice cream treats in the middle of the day or not. The actual food at B&C is not worth leaving EP for. If you are only interested in ice cream (and not sundaes), I would just get some in the France pavilion - the actual ice cream there is far better than what you will find at B&C.

Thank you. After looking into it and thinking about it more, I agree with you both. We dropped it. If it was on a resort day, then I would try it but not Epcot during Food and Wine. Thanks again.

Agree with other posters - not worth the trip in your situation. Realistically, it's a 15-20 minute walk from the International Gateway to B&C, and then back again. The food is fun, but not better than most of the stands at EPCOT during F&W. I'd save the belly-space for Via Napoli! Maybe grab a snack at EPCOT for lunch. Enjoy.

I agree! Beaches and Cream is great but I would skip that and keep Via Napoli! That’s one of our favorites on property! Lunch at Beaches and Cream is overrated, get a great snack in a Epcot instead.

I'm sure I will get some push-back for this... but I thought the ice-cream at B&C was average at best. I was staying at Yacht Club so didn't mind, but I would have been upset if I went out of my way for it.

L'Artisan des Glaces is far better, and you don't need to leave the park. It gets crowded back there in France, though. So if crowds aren't your thing, B&C may be better.
