Hi all!
I'm headed to Epcot in a couple of weeks and I'd like to try something new-to-me. I'm looking at the duck and dumplings, the bone marrow or the roasted mussels. If you had to choose one, which would be at the top of the list? (I generally like seafood, have limited experience with game and have little idea of what to expect with the bone marrow!)

Well, bone marrow would be the biggest stretch! A small sampling of it at the festival might be the best way to experiment! If you like it, you can get another. If not, you can throw it away and move on to the mussels or duck!! I hadn't seen that - where is that sold?

I love roasted mussels, definitely think marrow is worth trying once, not something I would order for myself, but will share if it's ordered for the table. I think duck can be greasy and gamey, but really, I'll try almost anything once.

Looks like it's at Gourmet Landscapes. And yes, it's probably the thing I'd be least likely to encounter outside of Epcot!

I was watching a review last night, and the mussels really impressed her. I had the Duck last year, and although I usually love Duck, it was kind of disappointing. No idea about the bone marrow, but it doesn't sound appealing to me.

It’s good and I think you would enjoy it but not necessarily worth seeking out

LOVE marrow. I'd choose marrow, mussels, duck. Actually, I pace things out so I could get all three!

Bone marrow may sound strange, just try it, I have never had it until recently. My boyfriend called it Gods butter and it was sooooo good. if you like steak it’s like a salty meaty flavor on bread. So yummy.

I think all of those could be good options, but of the three I'd pick the duck. We had to cancel our trip this year, but last year we tried all of those. The duck was very good - but we all love duck. I had read reviews that it could be a little fatty but our portion was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed the dumplings as well. I didn't like the bone marrow at all (too earthy tasting if that makes sense), but my son really enjoyed it so I guess it just depends on your taste. The mussels were good - not the best I've had but still very good. My husband really enjoyed them.

Thanks for the input! I do understand that "earthy" taste. I'm slowly getting used to the same note in beets (maybe I should just get the beet plate! Lol)
