I don't think anyone has mentioned yet that the boat dock is easier to access from the YC over the BC. We've never stayed at BW - I'm also not a fan of the outside restaurants and the kids are creeped out by the clown pool. Definitely agree if within budget a water view at YC is hard to beat, gorgeous view from the balcony.

All three choices are fantastic. We have stayed at all 3 including the Swan and Dolphin. Our number 1 pick would be the BWI, followed by the BC, then YC. It is only DH and myself. The walk over to EPCOT is shorter then the other resorts. BWI and BC have awesome atmosphere. We usually stay Club level if the opportunity is available. I am sure, you will have an awesome time.

Stormalong Bay, the pool at YC/BC, is one of the most popular pools on property. People stay there JUST for the pool and allow for ample time during their trip to use the pool. Because of this, we've found it consistently busy and full of families, of course. I prefer YC/BC as a resort, but if the main reason for staying there is for the pool, I'd consider that. Boardwalk does have more dining options and a quieter pool environment, IMO.

You say end of year, so I am assuming a winter trip. If so, then boardwalk. We have stayed at all three and I thought Boardwalk was the best themed of the three, and you may not be able to use the pool much in winter. Dining doesn’t factor in because it is easy to walk from one resort to the other for meals.

Another vote for BWI. Yacht Club is nice as well, we just like the vibe of the Boardwalk better. If you can swing it like Nascargirl said, club level at BW is definitely worth it. Cast members are the best on property.

I am a YC person. I like the decor in the rooms and the pool is my favorite. It is just so peaceful sitting by the pool and looking out at the Boardwalk. I have stayed there when it is a slower time but also 2x in July due to kids school schedules. Even in July, I have never had a problem getting a chair and the pool is so big that I don't find it too crowded...everyone is kind of spread out. You can't go wrong with any of them, but I vote for YC.

All 3 are excellent resorts. As you can tell, everyone has experiences and favorites. Our order is simple - BC would be our first choice, YC second, and BW third. The close proximity to EPCOT (we like to stay in that area during festivals), and the pool are a big plus for us. Of course, you also get the pool if you stay at YC. Our stays at BW have been iffy a couple times, and on the loud side even more. We're also not fans of the BW pool. But you certainly can't beat the proximity to the walkway to DHS - a very nice perk if you like walking.
