Epcot’s “Circle of Life” to close February 3rd!

Well, I've been hoping for a Circle of Life revamp, but it sounds like they aren't replacing the show at all. However, I did read that the current space for those workshops is next to Germany in the World Showcase, and that they may be clearing that space to put something there, so that could be interesting.

This is one attraction...along with Tom Sawyer Island and the Treehouse that we NEVER visit. Last time we saw it was nearly 10 years ago. Can't say I'll miss it.

3 words - it's about time.

I think, with the contraction, that's probably 3.5 words. :-)

We watched it once, maybe 13 years ago. This past November my son, seven, was drawn by those signs they have for it as you walk in the pavilion. "Circle of Life just 100 feet this way." He really wanted to watch it, but we didn't have time at the time. I said, "next trip." Oh well.

It wasn’t baaaaad, it was just a one & done attraction. It was definitely not on our must do list. (Living with the Land actually is)

yeah it's too bad. Quite a good movie. Oddly enough we didn't give it a try until about 3 years ago (started going back to WDW after a long break about 8 years ago) but have seen it every time we've been at EP since

Is this the movie in the Land Pavilion? If yes, we have seen it once and all I remember is that the audio was way too loud. Because of that, we have never been back.

Aw man, we actually really liked this! My son is a huge animal lover and wants to work on conservation when he grows up.

Provided they replace it with something worth doing more than once (unlike circle of life): Awesome! We liked CoL the first time, but it had no repeat value for us.

Another attraction I’m embarrassed to say we’ve walked by countless times but never done.... :tiptoe:

It would be funny if its closing got the same fanfare as GMR. I'll be looking for "last ride" CoL t-shirts and mugs later this month. :D
