Entertainment Discount on the Disney Club Card???

Can you use the Entertainment Discount on the Disney Club Card to get a discounted rate at PBH or HRH?

I just posted this same question a few days ago. The response I got was no. You need to have an actual Entertainment card. I assume the DC card isn't valid here due to HRH & PBH being so close to Disney. But I don't know the reasoning. You could probably check with USF reservations & find out if it is accepted or not. The EC card is available at www.entertainment.com & lots of books are on sale now because most expire in Nov. 2001. As long as you are going before end of Nov. 01 the card will still be valid.

Mine only cost $10 plus I will use lots of the coupons from our area here. So to save us quite a bit on the room rate it was well worth the $10. I got a GV room at HRH for $117.50/nt (reg. rate was $185). Not too bad...

I contacted Entertainment with this question & was told that the entertainment aspect of the DC card was valid everywhere except orlando area and anaheim area. That you do have to purchase a regular ent. card to get the discount in those areas.

Thanks for the info. I thought perhaps they might accept the Disney Club Card for the Entertainment Rate like the Swan & Dolphin do. It's still worth the additional $10 to get the Entertainment Card. I have a question. Do I purchase a FL Entertainment Card or a NY one or is it all the same? I really appreciate your help. Have a great day!

Any Entertainment card except for the Disney card would be acceptable.

Do you need to get an entertainment card for the Orlando area or can can you buy one for your hometown so you can use the discounts there also?

You can purchase one for your local area and the card will be good on hotels throughout the country.
