Are there any Entertainment coupons that could be applied on a 4 day Sat. to Wed. rental with National?

Any one have an extra they aren't going to use if so?

THANKS!
Kayla

Kayla - try these codes first - One Free Wkend Day: 10008612 (coupon) - contract ID is 5066914 (but I'd try Priceless 6600330 first) - or Two Car Class Upgrade: 10008613 (coupon) - same contract # - must reserve compact - midsize. Both expire 12/31/04 - if either of these work for you, pm me.

I'm waiting for some coupons to come out for January too. Not sure if I want to buy the Entertainment book this year. I have for the past couple of years, but not sure it's worth it for me. There are usually alot of coupons to be found elsewhere. Keep in mind that you can make a ressie with National now and add a coupon later without it affecting your rate.

We're going from Jan. 20th to the 24th and I used the Priceless code, 6600330, Entertainment Book Code, 10009120 and coupon code 5066914 and got a standard size for $108.56.

You have to have the Entertainment Book in order to use their codes and coupon and right now you can get it for $20 plus they deduct another $5 if you tell them to automatically issue the 2006 book when it comes out. We go to Florida quite often but I've never gotten the book so I don't know how much of a savings it's going to be for us but I thought I'd try it at least once.

My rate went from $141 to $108 so with a $33 savings on the rate - subtract the $15 I paid for the book and I've saved $18. I guess that's not a lot in the scheme of things but I'm hoping we can save more with additional coupons and 2 for 1's that they have in the book.

Once you purchase the book, you can print the coupon off the web site so I'm thinking I can use the coupon again for a later week-end visit.

D & G: how did you use all three of those codes?

Your Priceless code is the contract ID; your Entertainment Book code is a coupon; and it looks like the "coupon code" you entered is actually a different contract number.

I think I'm missing something. Help! I sure would like to get the same rate you did.

The best rate I have for 1/14 - 1/19 is $124.82 for an EA Intermediate, including all fees and taxes - through National. I used the AmEx contract ID (the Priceless code is always more expensive than AmEx) and the Entertainment $20 off coupon.

I tried the two codes listed in Dopey & Grumpy's post. Both of them come up with some kind of error!! Any other ideas????

THANKS!
Kayla

I used the Ent. Book code 5066914 as the product rate code, the coupon 10009120 as the coupon ID and the priceless 6600330 as the contract ID and it worked. I've tried different codes in different places and if it isn't right, it comes back and tells me the ID code is incorrect or coupon code is incorrect, etc but it took all three of these numbers in the fields I mentioned above. If you switch them around (use 6600330 as product rate code and 5066914 as contract ID) or use a different code then the Priceless, it doesn't deduct the State Tax so it would be about $7 more.

The Ent. Book code is for a 3 or 4 day rental with a week-end in between and the hours you pick it up and drop it off have to be exactly the same. We're really not leaving until 3:45 but we're getting there at 11:30 so I tried 12:00 as my pickup time and 2:00 as my drop off time and it wouldn't let me do it. I then changed the 2:00 to 1:00 and it still wouldn't let me do it.

The coupon states: "One free weekend day. > Valid for the rental of a midsize through fullsize four door car. > 3-Day minimum (4-Day maximum) allowable keep. > Offer valid through 12/31/05. > Friday and Saturday overnight required."

I just tried the codes again and got the same rate. I'm a member of the Emerald Club and signed in so I could use Emerald Reserve but I don't think that makes any difference.

If it doesn't work, I'm not sure why. Like I said, I just tried them again and got the same rate. Hope this helps.
