Can anyone help with info about the Entertainment Card:

1. Has anyone bought just the card itself on Ebay?

2. If I buy the book so I get the coupons as well which one would you recommend - Orange County or Los Angeles?

Thanks everyone!

I bought just the card off of ebay. It was (I think $5.29) with no shipping.

The only reason I got it for to get the Entertainment Rate at HoJo's.

I have purchased and received as a gift Entertainment books before and find that I NEVER use them. So, for me just buying the card was the right decision.

If you love to use coupons, buy the book.

I buy the one for our area - Vancouver, BC - because there are a lot of coupons for activities and shopping that I do use (and more than pay for the book). You can still use the card for Hojo's in Anaheim (or whatever city) with the card.

Don't you ever wonder how the people who are selling Entertainment cards on eBay got just the cards?

I bought one off ebay too. I just received it in the mail Monday. I think I paid the same price as SeattleTink.

I do wonder.....just exactly where do they get them?

OP I get the one for my area, no need to buy one for Anaheim or LA, those are so $$$!

Like others, we just bought the card off ebay for $5 and some change. When we bought the card I was curious as well as to where she was getting all these cards. When I looked at her other auctions I realized that she is a coupon shopper. My theory is that she buys the books and uses the coupons she wants (which probably ends up paying for the books themselves) and then she auctions off the various coupons, cards, etc that she doesn't use and has probably found there is a market for.

Are you going anywhere but Disneyland while here? If so, buy one for that area. As far as I know, the Orange County one doesn't really have anything for the Disneyland area (other than the card being good for HoJo). The card isn't really good for anything else, without the book, FYI.

So if you're spending in in Los Angeles, check out that book, or if you're going to some other place, look into those.

Probably right!

I don't know if it's in the current book, b/c mine is still in the mail to me, but the last two years there have been 4 $5 coupons for the grocery store I use more. First year I paid $20ish, second year I paid $15 by waiting to buy the book, so those coupons obviously paid for the book over the year, and HoJo was a bonus! :)

I actually have a friend that has one! So she said that I can easily borrow it for our trip! Yay!

Speaking of Ent. Rates at HOJO does anyone know approx. when the rates come out for the Fall? Is in later Spring or Summer??? Just curious as to when I should be watching the boards super closely!

Thanks a bunch :goodvibes
