Entertainment Book Questions

If I purhase the 2003 book can I use it to book rooms in 2002? Do they scan the card at check-in or do they just check to see if you have a card Do you have to have the Orlando book to get 1/2 price hotel rooms in Orlando or can you use a Chicago book? My mom has a Chicago entertainment book and I was wondering if I could use her card? Thanks! I just started posting again after only reading posts for awhile and I'm so happy to see that the Universal Boards have gotten very popular. Going to Universal in 2 weeks and real need your help!

Books run from Nov. 1 to Nov. 1

You can use any Entertainment book.
Take a look in your moms' book in the back for hotels.
