Enterprise car rental

We are renting a man minivan from Enterprise. What are they like? We usually rent from Alamo. We have never rented from Enterprise before and have heard mixed reviews.

Do you know if Enterprise is like Alamo where you pick out the car your want from your row? Any idea what type of mini vans they have?

if you check the 'vehicle' pages for both companies you will find amazing similarity! Both list minivan types as Dodge Caravan and Toyota Sienna ..... "or similar"

in my most recent experiences with Alamo and national I've see the stands side by side and keys were drawn from a central location .....

Every time my husband has rented a minivan for work, he has gotten a Dodge Caravan. They have always looked nice but he said he very much prefers our Sienna to drive. Enterprise is the only place to rent a vehicle in our town.

We always use Enterprise and have had good service every time without high pressure up sell (in the past, we'd have a negative experience with Alamo and budget). Out in the garage, they usually give us a choice of vehicles.

Do you know if Enterprise is like Alamo where you pick out the car your want from your row?

When I tried booking an Enterprise rental, I was instructed to go to the counter. I could not find a way to bypass the counter and just go to the garage to select a car. I went with a National Emerald Aisle reservation instead. I have also used Alamo's on-line check-in to avoid the counter. I hate the counter experience as they try to upsell both car selection and various loss damage waivers (insurance), not to mention the extra time spent waiting in line.

Enterprise is my go to company for both business and personal rentals. The customer service has always been great and i've never had any problems.
