Entering the Park with food?

I am wondering if any one has some experience with this.

We will be eating at Goofy's kitchen and will be getting a cake for DS. We want to go back to the park after dinner until it closes, but will have the cake with us. We are staying at the Hojo and won't have time to run it back if we want to hit any rides.

Will they let us bring the partially eaten cake into the park in the bottom of our stroller or not? I know they do not allow cakes to be brought in for meals, but where it has been eaten I am hoping we could.

TIA

We brought in partially eaten pizza from Naples in DTD into DL and it was fine. They didn't even ask to look in the box.

Just remembered this picture. This family was in front of us on Jungle Cruise.

Technically it is no bringing in lunches and dinners except for religious groups like Orthodox Jews and special diets like celiac. They do allow drinks and snacks like a piece of cake though.

They normally do not stop people for bringing in meals though. It is too much bother to spend all day searching bags for Cobb salads and buckets of chicken, lol. when they search they never thoroughly check bags anyhow. I once brought a whole chinese dinner into the park and ate it during a parade.

we had a chance to get that bag but couldn't spend 10 on fast food at the time lol
