Ent. rate 12/04 ?

Hi all... well thanks to all the help on these boards, I finally called today to book a room for our 1st every Universal trip/Christmas season.. I asked for all the rates... and got an Entertainment rate at RPR for $119 a night!!! Yea!! I was psyched! But my question now is... I don't have the book yet, and when I looked at the site, it said the 2004 books expire 11/04.. when do the new books come out? Does the card expire also, or is it good all year? Now what?????

Cheryle - do you mind sharing what dates you got the 119.- rate for? For 12/2,3,4 I was quoted Ent rates of 142. -, Fan club 132.- and APH 129. - . This was a while ago - I wonder if they've gone down? My rates were for standard view. Thanks.

To answer your question, the new books are usually out in Sept or Oct - at least that's when our PTA sold them - and YES, the cards also expire on 11/31/04- you will have to pick up a new (2005) book and card.

Hi.. we are going 12/7 and 12/8.. only 2 nights.. have to ease into this Universal thing! I'm so used to Disney! I was quoted fan club $142 standard view, then I asked about ent. rate, and was told $119 for standard view.

Maybe if you call back, they will change rates? Good luck, and thanks for the info about the book. I will keep checking the site for when they are released for 2005..

I had this same question! I am excited because I just booked RPR for 12/18-12/23 for 119 a night except for the first night at 152. My original ressie was with hotelkingdom for 189 a night. Yippee!!!!!!!
