Enough time to get to an ADR after Fantasmic?

Hi All

Any help here would be much appreciated! We made our ADRs last week but there is only one causing me a bit of concern now thinking about it. We have booked a table at 8:20pm at 50s Prime Time Cafe which is on the same night as Fantasmic (which we are planning to go to).

It says the show finishes at 8 but due to the crazy amounts of people, I was wondering if it was going to be possible to get out of the show and make our reservation? I've looked on the map at their distances, but I really have no idea!

At the time of making our ADRs, this was the only one coming up so we booked it. Do you think it will be ok or do you think we won't make it? I don't mind re-booking it if we could get seated later, but just thought i'd ask you guys for advice first. Thanks for all your help!

The times I've been to Fantastic the exit has been very slow, and I'm sure we were let out of a side gate towards the main entrance to the park and not the way we came in (near Beauty and the Beast theatre).

You will be rushing to get there - what time does Fantasmic start? Could you not eat first?

Crowds coming out are slow unless you are one of the first out.

it starts at 7:30 but would be good to get there early (I've read people get there up to 2 hours before!) to get a good view - so that would be 5:30, if we ate at 4:30/5 and then headed over there after that, do you think that would be better? Thanks for your help!

I personally think you will be fine IF you make sure you are sitting close to the exit. Once you exit the slowest part will be getting down Sunset Boulevard but when you get to the Sorcerer's Hat (centre of the park) you will cross over to Echo Lake while the mass of crowds will head down Hollywood Boulevard towards the park exit.

Why not try for a Fantasmic package ADR. We did it last year had reserved seating and ate at Mama Melroses with a 4.45 reservation. However, you have to ring Disney dining reservations to book this package, cannot do it online.

You will have plenty of time! Depending on where you are sat also, some sections move slower than others (esp at the far left). All you would need to do in then would be to walk to the bottom and walk up another section. Once you are out of the amphitheater the crowd flows pretty quick. Also 50's isnt far from the end of Sunset Blvd.
