What books are you guys currently reading in your English classes?

I'm reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse...so far I can't stand it

i don't ahve to take anymore cuz i fulfilled the requirements. YAY!!!

I'm taking public speaking though.

We are STILL reading All the King's Men. I love it!! Except for all the damn writing we have to do!

I am reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

We're studying Jaws (the movie) in my English class right now, so I'm reading lots of articles about that. It's actually a film class, but it's considered English.

Next week we watch Pulp Fiction, and then a couple weeks later we study The Matrix. Pretty cool

I'm reading Romeo & Juliet... actually we r done.. the test is friday... then we start on The Odessy and then on to To Kill a Mockingbird... boring i kno...

Well I still haven't read Moby Dick...we were supposed to have the paper for it done about 2 weeks ago, but our teacher is so far behind that it probably won't be due until at least may, so no one has actually read the book yet. plus it's really boring, so i'm just procrastinating as much as possible lol.

And right now I'm doing vocabulary and studying for an essay test we have this week over Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson...I like Dickinson but Whitman is boring.

And I'm supposed to be starting to read 2 slave narratives, one by Frederick Douglas and the other by someone I don't know lol.

Not reading anything right now because we are doing this poetry project (yeah i am in the EASIEST english class right now), but after this is done, we will be getting started on Romeo and Juliet stuff

To Kill a Mockingbird is such a good book!

Right now we are reading Invisible Man and afterwards we are going to do this awesome sterotypes project where we make mask for each other of a noticable sterotype and we get to dress up like them

but in the last 3 weeks we have finished our research papers(which were over 2 novels), finished Sound and the Fury, finished Of Mice and Men and read Raisin in the Sun and written 2 essays...what fin my English class is
