Engagement Photo shoot

Hi long time no post. We have been away for awhile dealing with other events in our lives as the wedding got put into the background. Well its in full swing now as we go for our wedding planning the week of Nov 5th.

Question

While we are there we are having Randy Chapman do a engagement photo shoot for us and we are unsure where would be best, also we would like it to be different from our weeding shoot. We are also unsre what we should wear? Long pants and shorts(dress) with button down or polo type shirts or what not to wear. Just what I need more decision to put on my plate lol

We did our engagement shoot at the Beach and Yacht Club. It worked out great for us, and I loved that our reception location (ADH) was in the background.

As far as what to wear, it really depends on how formal of shots you want. We (well, I, DH didn't have much of an opinion on the matter) wanted more casual pictures from the engagement shoot. So we wore jeans and polo shirts. You could always go for the best of both worlds and do half the shoot in dressy clothes, and the other half in more casual outfits.

Our engagement photos were recently taken here in AZ. We definitely wanted ours to be casual and fun. We wanted to kind of match too. So, we both wore our favorie jeans and flip flops. DF wore a button down short-sleeved casual black shirt. I wore a short-sleeved polo shirt with a pink tank top underneath peaking through at the bottom. I think it worked really well. However, our photographer did offer us time to change if we wanted to bring two outfits. We just didn't want that hassle.

how about the boardwalk/yacht & beach/swan & dolphin! that location is great because if you pick the right spot, you can get spaceship earth in the pics!

We did ours at Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian - which offered a lot of great backdrops. As to what we wore, I made DF wear my fave of his shirts (I love the color!) and I wore the only thing I have that makes me look not fat. So we may have been overdressed, but I think they turned out OK:
