End of Nov Cheap Airfare

We are going to Disney on Nov 25 for a short 5 night trip. I've been looking for airfare for awhile now, and out of Buffalo, it's been about US$1160 for our family of 4 (or about US$1300 if you include an overnight stay at a local hotel). I think the 25th is the problem as that is the Sunday after American Thanksgiving and I think it's a high volume day.

In any event, I just checked itravel2000.com and saw an Air Transat flight for Cdn$1184!!! $89 for each ticket, then about $200 in taxes (LOL).

I'm not sure I can grab a Buffalo flight and overnight hotel for something around US$800 (that'd be the price differential for me to drive 2 hours each way to and from Buffalo) roundtrip for our family of 4, so I think I'll do Pearson for our Nov. trip.

Thoughts?

Other than keeing an eye on Dings there is not much else you can do. Your flight out on the Sunday unfortunately still seems to be in the 'busy Thanksgiving' timeframe so even if you get a deal on the flight home, the one going there might still be a bit pricy. That AirTRansat flight you mentioned below is a reall good deal for a flight out of Pearson!

Ohh....too bad you didn't get the sunwing flights earlier...About 6 weeks ago sunwings flights out of toronto were dead cheap...I emailed a friend and they got flights out of toronto the end of november for 800 total for 4 of them......great deal eh!!
now they are way more....

Sunwing does seem to have great prices, but I think they only have Sunday to Sunday flights. Also, I haven't heard good stories about them. $800 for 4 is a smokin' deal though!

I booked Air Transat. $89/pp round trip is a good price I think. Too bad the taxes are $207/pp!!!

We have flown just about every Canadian airline out of Pearson. Sunwing was better than most, not nearly as bad as others. They actually serve food and a hot towel. I was worried about them and wouldn't book with them again until I tried them, but would now happily use them. Skyservice on the other hand, wouldn't use if I could save money!

sunwing also has thursay flights because we were going to go thursday to a week sunday getting the 10 day trip in.....i just waited too long and the cheapies were gone by then... I think the saying is "he who hesitates it lost"....that was me.

We where going to fly out of Detroit but by the time we paid for hotel. I found a better deal from toronto and not as far to drive. We fly out of Toronto November 11th for 1 week $1173 for a family of 4 return with sunwing.
