Wife is a teacher and gets out May 24th. What are the crowds like during this week, and are the crowd calendars on other sites accurate?

May is generally a good time to go (in fact, if my husband doesn't get a new job, we'll be that same week -- I teach too). You'll get in just before the summer crowds start coming in, though Memorial Day weekend may be a bit crowded. Our first trip was a mid/late May trip, we loved it!

It depends on your definition of "accurate." From our experiences over the last couple of years, the crowd calendars are way out of wack. They're out of wack because WDW is ALWAYS crowded now...

Crowd calendar are mos tr likely accurate but remember they use previous years data to compile the data. Coming from someone who loves to visit in May, its a beautiful time to go in. Just Correspond the Flower and Garden Festival with your trip if you are really worried about crowds.
